Hi! Like what you're doing. Its hard to stay hopeful at times, but I do. Despite it all. I wanted to ask if this is a side blog or not? I hope that's not rude, I just figured it might be.

Heres a pic of my old man doggie named Dash. He likes to sleep on a big cushion and sometimes he falls off. (Dont worry, falling is at most an inch. Its honestly more of a slide off)

@truth-bound, no, New 52 is actually what ended PI Riddler.  Right before DC did the New 52 reboot, Riddler got hit on the head again and got all his memories back, pulled a charade and then disappeared.  Riddler did historically have a very subtle friendship with Selina, but basically no relationship with Harley and the few times he and Ivy interacted they usually hated each other

@truth-bound there's that too! But also even if they're the same species, there's so many variations in their designs you can give them so they don't look like siblings. It's just lazy ya kno?

I know people don't like Patrick's parents redesigns but at least they don't look like actual TWINS anymore.

however, it is explicitly stated that soldier is immortal, none bar medic have souls, and its probable that they live on base while theyre doing work (end of the line) but have "civilian" homes.

these are all true but my point was more about specific recurring fanon that either had no basis or were somewhat explicitly refuted. like yes they have shown being brought back to life through supernatural or medically improbably means, but that’s different from respawn.

Also, as much as I LIKE End of the Line, I don’t think it really fits in with the Valve canon super well, so I don’t really take it into consideration for canon world building. Otherwise, Spy mentions “going home for the day” in the MvM comic and Demo’s mom is worried about him being late to work that day in the WAR! comic.

Soldier sure is a lawyer though.

when i was little SpongeBob was my favorite show and my little sister wanted to be a construction worker... so i asked that when we are grown up she build me a house that is SpongeBob themed and is modeled after SpongeBob's face... honestly idk if it would be cool or creepy to have a house that looks like SpongeBob's head.

Honestly that would be pretty cool! In this world od mcmansions, y'all would be out here with the SB head. I know I'd want to live there 😤

But fr this is really cute because kids dream of obscure things. Sometimes faaar more interesting than what adults ever could. And its just super adorable that you asked your sister if she could do that. Awwww💞

One of my favorite things about Jonathan Crane, is that he's always so extra. I mean the fandom doesn't exactly view him as so extra, but he goes out of his way to make sure he sends the message, more so than needed. He's extra.

I like to think that he’s just really expressive, but yes you could call it being “extra” too. ;)  That’s another thing that I love about Scarecrow. No matter what artist is drawing him, or in what universe it takes place…he’s so expressive! It takes real talent to portray emotions through that burlap mask, and it’s a testament to the creativity of the many different artists who bring his fearful schemes to life.

When I was making that scarecrow mood post, I had a hard time picking the best expressions. I wanted to include a wide range of styles and emotions. It was really fun to make, and I’m glad to see everyone enjoying it~
