Useless.

Blinking through the haze of rainbow that I remember seeing, I told him regret was pointless, he said to me, while we were sharing an extremely synthetic high off some amazing scoobies, that jealousy and hate were just as useless. 

It could have just been the scoobies but I looked at him through what I imagine to be very dilated pupils and it was possibly the most profound thing I heard that entire festival. 

Replace your hate with peace. Use your jealousy and change it into admiration and kindness, and as for regret, use it to learn and make choices in the future. 

This all seems very obvious but just in case this wisdom isn't widely known, enjoy.

This Memory Hoarder.

This is not a clever metaphor,

or hundreds of poems carefully stored.

It is, it is, it is, a simple hoard.

That is, usually objects or money or reward,

but our brain can't control it's natural hoard,

of  moments of extremity, some untoward,

the lingering ones that have somehow clawed

their way to the surface when you close your door,

the best and the worst mingling in a mental war,

leaving you in battle, soothing your sores.
