Truzkuuth is a daemonic herald of power and ability only known to those of the Changer of Ways. It holds abilities within the largest range of psychic disciplines compared to its peers within the ranks of the Dream Heralds, even holding understanding if not practiced talent in many long dead fields such as ‘Necromancy’ or ‘Beast Magic’.
Despite his abilities, the Herald is limited by an unbridled ego which can make it uncannily simple to overpower if properly taunted. This pride has resulted in Truz being under the impression that his abilities could force the other Dream Heralds away from Kallig’s form along with the mortal’s soul. While clearly a failed attempt, this event has scarred the trust between the Everchosen and Oracle, forcing the drake to attempt to earn back chances to wield power through Kallig.
Claims are often thrown around by Truzkuuth that his birth was during the fall of the Thousand Sons legion, and while not unprecedented for a major event to spawn a being of the warp there is little evidence to this idea. Shaski has suggested that this is to justify his relative youth to his peers, and as a form of compensation like “those astartes who use thunder hammers”.
Appearance
The Daemon Truz bares a form similar to those of mythical dragons, holding visual traits considered unique to most artistic archetypes of the aforementioned creatures. His most common bodily form is a hexapod, with four clawed legs and a pair of wings with a span approximately twice as wide as he is long.
Beyond the visible size of the daemon, an ever changing mirage of colours blends themselves across his scales and protect against a pale cream hide. Despite expectations the exposed regions of flesh aren’t any less durable than the scales.
Normally bereft of markings, during arcane litanies and other ritualistic practices scripture of unknown languages. The assumption of the presence of multiple tongues comes from the visible differences in calligraphic styles.
Personality
Similar to his Master and Patron, Truz’s personality is something hidden behind an unknown number of social masks. As with all things chaotic, the expected actions of mortals around different people are exaggerated further by Truz and even the severe differences between interactions with the same person at different times.
The only trait which does comes forth with all representations he gives forth is the pride and ego which appears more fitting with the God/dess of Excess. This was exemplified in his attempt to claim Kallig’s mortal form for his own machinations but does appear in everything from ‘casual’ conversations to every action within a conflict.
Powers and Abilities
Psychic Mastery
While unable to rival Daemonic Prices, let alone the Crimson King, Truz is a talented hand when it comes to matters arcane. The arcana of the other deities are beyond his grasp but the Wyrm has a functional understanding of most sorcerous disciplines including ones lost from long dead civilisations.
Breath of Chaos
While a savoured ability, on command he can summon forth a torrent of unstoppable chaos. Destructive when used ineffectively, this ability can melt or just relocate matter into the Warp while having the potential to summon forth other beings of Tzeentch. Screamers and Horrors are noted to be the most common entries summoned with greater daemons not being recorded thus far.
It is unclear if this power is linked to a psychic ability or an innate trait associated with Truzkuuth
Truzkuuth is the grandest of the Dream Heralds, empowering the Mighty Everchosen with the widest repotiour of psychic weapons to utilise in his galactic conquest. Rivaling even the Librarian Conclaves of the insignificant Grey Knights chapter, only the powers of the Crimson King can rival Truz’s power and knowledge.
This extensive range of power was from his birth in the division of Magnus the Red’s soul and rapid acceptance of Tzeentch. This body of power has been shackled by Kallig’s unwillingness to accept the power to its complete extent and accept his true allegiance towards the Changer of Ways, or the Crow as his sycophants know the god by.
Appearance
Bearing a form befitting his power, the Oracle of Chaos manifests himself in a draconic form which ripples with waves of colour and enraptured the eyes of onlookers as if he were a servant of the Dark Prince. The broad form his held high by a set of four limbs which could crush a land raider and takes to the air on wings able to blackout a star.
With his power enough being proof enough of allegiance, Truz’s form has little markers that he is a daemon of Tzeentch. Elaborate and indecipherable scriptures appear along his flesh when he is using more powerful or commitment requiring summons of power and only remain so long as effort is maintained in a power.
Aftermath
Kallig - “Truz, what is this?”
Truz - “A demand was set to create an official record, I followed the decree.”
Kallig - “The word you missed was ‘official’, we are not the Imperium where such blatant lies are omnipresent in records.”
Truz - “Do you wish to rewrite it?”
Kallig - “No, I’ll just make amendments where needed.”
Kallig - “Khal, Deos, one of you burn the Monolith of Domination. I need peace for this burden.”
