get mad or something but if you are a beginner lifter you don’t need to be doing targeted accessory lifts. you don’t have “weak points” your lifts ARE your weak points.
should you be doing accessory work? yes, but you should focus on doing general accessory work to win the Hyper Trophy. eating, training consistently, and gaining general muscle mass are going to be way better for you and make you stronger than doing laser-focused, one-muscle exercises
like for example if you are benching the bar and you think you are “weak off your chest,” yeah duh, but you’re weak everywhere else too. you need to eat food and keep doing bench reps, not target your “weak points”
i’m sure people disagree with this, but especially for newbie powerlifters (i honestly don’t have much experience with oly lifting so ymmv in that case) specificity is not how you should be arranging your training and people focus on it way too much, to their detriment, without building a strength base before (think about it like running, where you build a base of just regular miles before adding in speed work or intervals)
