We would like to pay tribute to an amazing player, William from our close neighbours and fellow Yorkies, @hullroundheads . He was not only part of the Northern Powerhouse team which was a culmination of players from The @igrclubhouse in Northern England, but he served them as captain at @unioncuprugby and made history by being the first ever trans player to serve as captain at a Union Cup tournament. Which was not the easiest task, as they only played together for the first time in their first match of the tournament. But, they went on to smash their matches and make us all incredibly proud. Nearly a year ago when some Hunters went to help the Roundheads at their first session, we remember Will being shy and unsure of whether he could get back into rugby. But, due to his own personal determination, true Yorkshire grit and the love and support given to him by the Roundheads, he has totally blossomed.
