Welcome to The Saint - LA’s hottest and most exclusive speakeasy lounge. We serve fine cocktails in a controlled environment where conversation and connection take precedence over loud music/people. Now with this being said, there is no shortage on entertainment as we do tend to host many events with our members leading the show which includes some of the greatest acts in and out of America.

Plot

Plot: 

Lurking behind a discrete, unassuming entryway which resembles that of a church on a side street nestled close to the strip of Los Angeles, The Saint, awaits with an unrivaled experience. We invite you in to confess life’s darkest sins, enjoy fine cocktails and even finer company. Our lounge is so exclusive that a password is required upon entry which is only extended to the celebrity elite and the people who work there. Each evening will bring its own uniquely exciting experience, depending on which sinners have entered the speakeasy and what events are being held at that time.

Summary: 

The Saint is a semi au/freelance group focused on the ficticious club/lounge following the same name — a private speakeasy which exclusively serves the celebrity elite. OC’s can work for the lounge however this is not mandatory.  

PSA:  Due to the nature of the environment, we do not recommend joining if you are faint of heart, are triggered by content containing alcohol and are under the age of 21 behind the screen.

Da Rules

Activity:

activity is an absolute requirement. we ask for you be as active as you can - you will be given a warning after FIVE DAYS inactivity, and on the SEVENTH DAY, you will be dropped from the group and your character will be reopened.

reblogging pictures, or music does not count as being active, and we ask you that you please make original posts and engage with others!

logging in once every few days to keep your character will not be tolerated, and will be marked as role hogging.

activity checks are done every WEEK. due to ooc engagements, we cannot guarantee what day these will occur on.

you will be given 24 hours after your follow has been posted to make an original post, otherwise your role will be reopened.

hiatuses will last a maximum of two weeks. if you need to go on hiatus, please message the mod blog with the hiatus form, and send us a quick message to let us know when you’re back too!

if you are on hiatus, you will not be permitted to pick up any new characters until you return.

CHARACTERS:

you may play up to three characters at any given time.

if we find out you’re applying under different alises for numerous different characters, you will be dropped and banned from the group. 

Muses must be at least 20 years old in order to be considered.

as for banned characters, we will be addressing this on a case by case basis, from current members, and exclusively OFF-ANON. if you personally feel uncomfortable with anyone who’s already on the group, please message us and we will permit you not to follow that character.

do not godmod. it should absolutely go without saying, but if you are found to be doing this, you will be kicked.

we reserve the right to deny access, remove individuals from the group, or to prevent individuals from joining the group, if valid, substantiated concerns are raised about a writer / alias or an invitation has not been supplied with the unique password for entry.

INTERACTIONS.

try to interact with as many original posts from fellow writers as you can.

selfie/intro reblogs are encouraged, but please keep them to a queue if possible, in order not to flood the dash!

selfies are limited to three per week - your intro will not count as one, videos and announcements will not count toward your selfie count either.

remember to tag your posts accordingly, following the tag list featured on the main.

as there’s a diverse community of writers in celeb/bandom, we’d like to remind members to please be cautious of the language that they use. some phrases or may have racial undertones or perpetuate a negative stereotype, so we ask members to please be mindful of using phrases or language that could cause discomfort to writers of color.

if your character wants to discuss something ic on gh with another character that may be triggering, or is mentioned on our trigger list, please try and reach out to the other writer firsty to make sure the topic is comfortable for you both to discuss!

if there’s anything else you need added to the trigger list, please don’t hesitate to let us know!

OOC.

IC drama is always fun, but please don’t take it out of character, this goes for all of the information in the sideblogs as well. if you personally have an issue with a member ooc, we ask you to please come to us OFF ANON about it so we can help.

MAJOR PLOTS.

All kinds of major plots such as pregnancies, overdoses, accidents, hospitalizations, etc — should be handled by mods and approved beforehand.
