18th Century Inspired Child Dresses

Lace Collar Dress: Combined outfit from two Store meshes. Four channels: Top, skirt, trimmings and tie.

Puritan Dress: Combined outfit from two Store meshes. Four recolourable channels: Top, skirt, trimmings and apron. Doesn’t include the apron’s original green embroidery.

Apron Skirt: The same skirt the Puritan Dress uses but as a separate bottom item. There's some clipping with tops because of the high waistline. Here shown with a top from IP. This one from the Store works also quite well. The green embroidery stencil can be removed in the second preset.

Supernatural Dress with Longer Skirt

Replaced the skirt with the one from the Store’s cow-farm-set. The second preset has a white brooch. Another long-skirt edit of the dress, which does require Supernatural, can be found here.

Family Farmhouse

I’m sorry that the pictures are at night but I forgot to take some during the daytime. This house is a 3 bed and 2 bath on a 40x40 lot. It has a detached garage and a greenhouse in the backyard.Pictures of the interior will be up soon!

Vintage Boy Clothing

Some edits of Store outfits. They're all standalone and don't require the originals.

Puritan: Same changes as I made for the toddler version. The belt is recolourable instead of the socks, but there's only one buckle overlay included.

Fauntleroy-Puritan: Combined the Fauntleroy top with the Puritan trousers - of course also minus the socks.

Golf / Red Beans'n'Rice: (Sorry, I prefer the names inside the files, they're less work to type) Also removed the socks and made the tie recolourable instead.

Paper Hat and Physician Cap

Conversions from the Sims 3 Store and The Sims Medieval.

The paperhat comes with three presets: Solid colour, paper-pattern and the original’s overlay. The default position is the one shown in the previews, but it is of course hatslider-compatible.

These hats do not use shared textures, so all files can be installed and uninstalled individually, independent of each other.

Accessory: Toddlerkranz

This is converted from the TSM "Jungfernkranz" hair, and I figured it might work as the sort of falling-hat that toddlers used to wear in the 18th century. Toddler male/female; a teen-to-elder version can be found here.

Bucket Hat Accessory

Originally this bucket is from EA’s Plants vs. Zombies bonus content. I used the accessory conversion for toddlers by Purple-Plumbobs and converted it for children (Purple-Plumbobs isn’t active under that name any more, but the download is here.) Mine sits over the eyes by default, because that’s what I needed for my story. It can be moved around with hatsliders. There’s a black pane inside, so you can’t see very far “up” in the bucket. Child only, male/female.

Simsxolove Hairs - Alternative Versions

Store FunFlower and MSS RoSweet

It was brought to my attention by @notgonnapostanythinghere that some of Simsxolove's conversions ended up with a multiple of their intended polygon count. Most likely this happened because the five morphs were accidentally merged and then TSRW created new morphs for that mesh.

Long story short, there was no way to fix it but to reconvert the hairs from scratch.

So strictly speaking, the child-hairs aren't fixes, they're entirely new conversions. I converted the FunFlower hair with the flowers. They can be removed in the second preset.

Two hairs from Island Paradise BGC were also reported for multiplied polygon count. So I reconverted those too.

"WetMess" is pretty much the same as the original. For "WavyAfro" I added the face-scalp- and specular-textures that were missing from Simsxolove's. I also made a normalmap, which the original IP hair doesn't have. So the filesize is larger than Simsxolove's, but the polygon count is EA's as it should be. This makes my version a shade lighter than the one in game. Personally I think this brings out the curls better with dark hair-colours.

Princess Dresses Tudor and Rococo

The Rococo Dress was inspired by Windermeresimblr's edit. It's made from the Generations Princess Dress and a Store top for the sleeves. It has the four presets shown here. Included are Windermere's recolours of the embroidery. I left out the original bright yellow completely. The white one is only in the last preset, because it didn't match very well with the overlay I made for the bows.

The Tudor dress was actually just meant to be a retexture. Then Windermere brought it to my attention that it's inspired by a portrait of young Queen Elizabeth I. Seeing them side by side I thought a Tudor waistline would make it much clearer. So I made this mesh edit (preview 1 and 3). They both have all four presets shown. The edited one has slightly distorted patterns around the waist, but I tried to counterbalance this with the UV-map. Although I kept the front stripe in preset 3, there is no stripe at the back of the skirt. Included are standalone versions and a combined file with linked textures.

Outfit Edits

"Dressing Gown Top"

Edit of the Basegame "Smoking Jacket", removing the handkerchiefs and making it look like a simple short dressing gown.

Tucked Tops Female

Two Store tops "tucked" into skirts to look more like a complete dress. Depending on the skirt used, there may be a slight seam around the waist. At some point I may make these for teen and elder as well, but they were more of a hassle than they look. The "Bow Jacket" has a channel variation. Standalone, originals not required.

"Grunge" Outfit Late Night

Moved the right-hand UVs to their correct position, so the finger textures now show up where they should. Added a channel-variation to make the vest look like a jacket. This is not a default replacement though, but shows up alongside the ingame outfit. Late Night is required.

Equus-Minihorses - Fixed and Streamlined

I'm repeating here the credit that was in the files:

Converted to TS3 and some recolors by Vicarious-Sims

Even with "real" horses in TS3, they're very cute and useful for storytelling. However, I couldn't install them with a clear conscience, as the six identical recolours were repeated in every .package file. So I linked them all to the basic stand pose. (Not to be confused with "rest", which is just a slight variation of "stand".) The files with "base" in the name must be installed for the others to show up properly.

I also linked the textures for the halter and updated it to snap to the head on placement. No cheats required, but some clipping was unavoidable. There are five variations now (one for every pose), instead of the original two.

I fixed a few dislodged vertices in the meshes, but they're not the smoothest meshes to begin with. Some gaps and seams are visible, especially on the black coat.

Found (by popular vote) in Decor/Sculptures at 1800§ for the pony and 180§ for the halter.
