If you think EA are slacking with lore in TS4, keep in mind this lore started in a trailer for the Vampires pack back in 2017 where we can see the transformation: Vlad creeps up on Miss...Maryb... her, while she is brushing her teeth and he (off screen) turns her into a vampire!!!!
