Princess Alana of Alexandra Engaged!

The Alexandran Royal Press Corps. began the new year with big news, announcing HRH Princess Alana's engagement to her longtime boyfriend, HRH Crown Prince Keona of Healani.

After paparazzi spotted the two lovebirds in downtown Union City, many wondered if this was a sign that the Crown Prince was spending the winter holiday with the Royal Family, which looks to be true.

The Kingdom of Healani has not yet shared the news, but we are sure the family is excited, as sources close to the Alexandran Royal Family shared with TRsi.

"Prince Keona totally planned this out! Everyone in the global community knows how traditional and old school His Majesty King Daniel is, so we're confident HM knew something was up with Prince Keona visiting for a holiday. We know he asked His Majesty alone, and we know that the Queen helped pick a ring since it could not come from the Royal Vault."

We are excited to see the King's youngest getting married, no matter the details. However, we cannot help but wonder when her brother and our future King will settle down and tie the knot.

All Grown Up and In Love: HRH Princess Alana Steps Back in Alexandra

It's been a while since we've seen HRH Princess Alana on our shores since she moved to Stralia to continue her studies. That all changed today when paparazzi captured HRH with her now long-time beau, HRH Crown Prince Keona of Healani.

The two young royals have dated for years now, but this is The Crown Prince's first visit to Alexandra, making many wonder if he's here to meet Their Majesties, aka his girlfriend's parents.

The rest of The Family is set to start winter vacation at Toulouse Castle in the Fretian countryside and we hope HRH Crown Prince Keona is joining!

King Daniel Privately Invests Queen Shalom Into Royal Order

In addition to a slew of governmental and ceremonial duties and responsibilities, HM The King is also responsible for investing his family members and citizens into the kingdoms 12+ royal orders.

We recently learned that HM Queen Shalom was invested into the Royal Order of Queen Alexi, named after Old Alexandria's first Queen. Olympia Palace released a few photos of the private ceremony between husband and wife.

This order is exclusive to queen consorts and historically happens before the investiture of a Crown Prince or Princess. This means we can expect all the pomp and pageantry of Prince Paul's installation as Crown Prince of Alexandra.

TRSi | King Roman Opens Commonwealth Court During Tinjia Visit

For the first time in centuries, a monarch held court in the traditional sense of the word. While visiting the Freretian territory of Tinijia, King Roman, honoring Tiniji tradition, held a court session, where tribal and government officials petitioned the King on issues ranging from their status as a territory to smaller things such as asking for personal visits while in Tinijia.

Dressed in their full royal regalia, the King and his two male heirs (the King also has twin daughters) represented Freret to its only territory, promising to handle all of the issues within their power.

After listening to petitions for several hours, the royal men then chatted with Tiniji leaders hoping to be created as nobles under the pending Peerages of Freret and the Commonwealth piece of legislation the King is lobbied to support.

Rumor has it that without titles and remaining devolution, the likelihood of Tinijia asking for independence increases.

TRSi | King Iman and Princess Anne Engagement Interview

Since news of their official engagement became public knowledge, the Union of Kingdoms, specifically Mal and Valencia, are buzzing at the thoughts of a royal wedding. Many are hoping it'll be the first public wedding, as Princess Anne's cousin, Queen Paige (the first post-revolutionary wedding), married in private.

The royal couple sat down with famous Mali journalist Jamaad Al'bassuni, to answer to learn all about the proposal, arranged marriages in modern times, and anything else they were willing to share. TRSi has an excerpt on how the couple feels about having an arranged marriage in modern times.

JA: We've all known since your childhoods that you two would eventually marry. Now that you're finally here...of age and ready to marry, how does it feel?

PA: I don't think about it much--or as many people might expect me to. Although a few decades have passed, my parents raised me to be aware of the region's fragility at the time. They both witnessed bloodshed and used that to instill a deep sense of duty--something the people of Mal understand. It just makes sense to me.

KI: I couldn't agree more! It's something that, in part, was seen as necessary to end the wars. Now, it doesn't hurt that we were able to connect. People never assume we're happy because our situation is a tad old-fashioned and transparently political.
