This scene is based off of V1Eclipse’s ‘creation’ after Moon left him behind in Sun’s head, where he experiences immense dysphoria towards his body and identity; he was MOON, he IS MOON- but his body is different, FORCED to change and adapt to a body he never asked to be in (nor did Sun).

We don’t see it in the show but I feel like he’d be the type to claw himself (wether intentionally or unintentionally) to ground him from the onslaught of emotions and thoughts screaming at him, which often ends in him being damaged and —obviously in this situation— in pain.

He doesn’t have anyone else.

All he has is the cube mocking him, showering Eclipse with its cold glow.

Happy birthday to the worst guy ever who plagued my mind for so many years, and helped me through a really tough time in my life at the same time.

Now, this art is based off of my selfship AU: Eclipse65, where Daffodil (my V1Eclipse) and Ren (my Sona) hanging out together after eating cakes they bought from their local 7/11, enjoying the warm June night with stars shining brightly above them on Daffodil’s birthday.

Together, with the stars shining warmly down at them across the vast open sky.

V1Eclipse, who was so deathly ALONE and AFRAID, finally found someone that he could be vulnerable with- someone that would reach for his hand at a whim’s notice and pull him up to the surface if he were drowning.

And of course, it took a long, LONG time for him to actually trust Ren nor everyone in that small village he ended up in after being casted out by Sun; but just like every traumatized characters I love, I love to think that once you gain his trust it’s silent yet powerful, just like the relationship he had with Moon but more healthier I presume —maybe a little codependent on his partners and he probably would be a control freak— but with patience from both you and his surrounding environment, I legit believe he could be so much more than what he became in TSAMS.

It takes place in my AU after V1Eclipse experiences very bad dysphoria in the midst of repairing his body, eventually falling into a rabbit hole of deep guilt and regret (it doesn’t help that he’s also filthy, one of the headcanons I have is that EclipseV1 ultimately doesn’t know how to clean himself due to the fact that he didn’t ***have to*** when he was inside Moon’s head, so he ended up suffering from rust/grime even with Sun’s cleaning program constantly nagging at him).
