glare and flint but theyre dating (flare)
glare falls first but he doesnt know how to say it
when flint came to the castle he tried befriending glare and glare took it the wrong way
he thought flint was just pitying him
flint got hurt by the assumption and wanted to respect glare so he kept his distance from glare
glare tries talking to flint and flint ends the conversation early for that reason
once they start dating flint realizes how not affectionate glare is lol
he doesn't mind much but he does have fun flirting with glare just to get a reaction out of him
as their relationship continues flint is able to read glare more and more even with his mask on- something only brute was able to do before
flint can read glare better than brute eventually
glare is,,, not the most mentally stable in the world
flint knew that but he didn't realize the extent of glare's issues
flint promises to be glare's rock and always be there for him
and he does help glare
for a while
glare actually wakes up in the morning not dreading being alive
unfortunately, the dread didn't just disappear
he passed it to flint
flint is doing his best for glare but glare weighs him down so much
flint for a while tries to power through it
he starts talking to vile more to vent
which just makes glare jealous, not that flint would ever know because he just internalizes it
which makes glare feel worse
which of course then makes flint feel worse
it gets to the point that flint cant take it anymore
he breaks up with glare
not because he wanted to but because he had to for his own mental health
flint is miserable about it
glare is miserable about it
flint goes to vile for comfort as vile was who he was closest to aside from glare
but glare?
he doesn't have anyone like that
flint confirmed glare's fears that he has far to much baggage for anyone to truly love him
flint and vile end up together after a while
and glare gets to watch vile be the partner he never could be for flint
watching vile make flint happy
