Avalon is a beautiful beach town that gives you that great small-town feeling when you are there. Whether you are escaping the city for the weekend or leaving the suburbs for your summer beach home you will have an amazing time in beautiful Avalon. Avalon offers so much to do in such a small beach town.

Besides laying out on a beautiful beach under the hot sun, water lovers can enjoy boating, sailing, wave runners, kayaking, paddle boarding, fishing, surfing and swimming in the ocean and back bays. Land lovers can take up a game of beach volleyball, play tennis at newly renovated courts, or visit one of the nine parks and playgrounds and of course go SHOPPING!!!! There is great shopping and nightlife in Avalon. ellelauri is the perfect one-stop-shop to pick up all you need for the beach, happy hour and a fun night out! We even offer a happy hour at our store on Saturdays where our customers can shop and enjoy a glass of wine or champagne before heading across the street to The Octopus Garden that offers a fun outdoor happy hour and before heading out to dinner (amazing sushi at the White Brier) or a fabulous dinner at the Sea Grille (all conveniently located directly across the street from ellelauri).

Necessities you will need for a trip to any beach:

Beach bag, flip flops, sunglasses, sun hat, swimsuit & cover up.  

We have many options to choose from but these are some of our favorites. The Wildfox beach bag in lobster print ($123). Beside the adorable print, this is a great bag because it is easy to wash out sand, sun tan lotion spills etc. ellelauri Carly navy/white striped cover up ($88 can also be worn as a dress or tunic)  Havianas ($24) are classic casual flip flop but we also love stylish Yosi Samara leather flip flops ($48) which are a simple, yet chic and go with everything. Spring Fashion trends from Liz Rymar Owner of elllauri

Spring trends for 2015 are very feminine, fun and wearable. Neutrals are back in a big way - white, blush, grey and beiges are always great for the warm months. Nautical influences are still popular - think statement stripes in navy, white and black & white. Florals were also seen all over the runways for spring, ellelauri has a lot of beautiful soft prints in our collection. Textured fabrics such as lace, (a timeless classic) and gingham pastels are also big this spring. The LWD little lace white dress is the new LBD (little black dress!) ellelauri has a beautiful white lace dress with a gold exposed zipper down the back this season and cute pastel gingham shorts and dresses in the summer collection.

Pour Richard's Coffee Co.

Pour Richard's Coffee Co. is a third wave small batch roastery that was inspired by Rich's passion for responsibly farmed, artisan roasted coffee. It started with a home roaster which lead to a commercial roaster (ours is zero emission) and the art and science of the roast. Together, we have created a shop that focuses on specialty coffee beans that are farmed, harvested, and roasted with attention to every detail. We are about quality, sustainability and community. The customer and the farmer are our first priority!

Pour Richard's Coffee Co. recently sponsored an awe inspiring origin trip to Costa Rica and Panama! We spent time with the farmers whose coffee we tasted last April and returned in late January, harvest season, to pick ripe coffee cherries grown for Pour Richard's and scheduled to arrive in burlap sacks this May. Working with farmers directly gives Pour Richard's the opportunity to specify how we'd like their specialty coffee grown, what types of varietals we'd like to try, how we'd like the beans processed - honeyed, natural or washed and or any creative manifestations of our own.
