any ideas for a orange or yellow tourmaline weapon?

That’s more specific, thank you! For yellow tourmaline (or Tsilaisite), it deals with personal growth and attracts good business. I think they could have a rod with magnetism or some kind of ability that draws in objects to fling at others. Another idea is that they could have a polearm or staff with retractable blades. 

For orange tourmaline, is very energetic and creative. I could see them use batons or tonfas that have electrical properties (since tourmalines are generally piezoelectric). That or, being a bit more abstract, they could have a paint brush/pole combo (orange tourmaline can either summon either summon the entire brush or just the pole).

What role do you think Yellow and Orange Tourmalines would have in gem society since they are more rare?

Good question! Both yellow and orange tourmaline share similar metaphysical qualities, such as being stones of action and intuition. Separately, yellow tourmaline (or Tsilaisite) promotes personal growth, power, inventing, and good for business. Orange tourmaline is good for creativity and sexuality. 

Because they are both rare, I feel like they can work co-dependently under Yellow Diamond. They could be well known for making breakthroughs in science and technology. Orange Tourmaline would be the one to come up with the ideas while Yellow Tourmaline would find ways to make it a reality. They’ll both could work on the invention together, along with other tourmalines or technician gems like peridots. I feel they would be the head of that division as well. You could also say they were involved in the cluster project (whether they created it or not may depend if the show goes into that detail).
