im soft and i wanna talk about tskukishima
his kindness goes unnoticed unless you look for it. it's hard to tell sometimes, with his scowls and sarcastic comments, but deep down, he cares so much.
it's in the way he brings you a glass of water when you've been studying or working for hours. the way he quietly offers his hand for you to hold when you walk. "so you don't get lost on me" he says, voice dripping with indifference. it brings him mean looks from both his and your friends, annoyed that he doesn't seem to care about you.
what they miss is the way his lips curl up in a small smile when your hand wraps around his. the way he looks at you as if you'd hung all the stars in the night sky when you're sleeping next to him.
they don't know the way he blushed furiously when you confessed to him. how clammy his hands were on your first date. the careful and shy hands that came up to hold your face when you had your first kiss and how his face heated up once more.
it's there. his kindness is always there, and his moments of insecurity forces him to bring you reassurance, making sure that you know how much he cares about you. how much he loves you.
