Tso Moriri Moon It is quite interesting scientifically when the moon can be seen during day light. It happens because of 2 reasons, one being the light from moon is bright enough to penetrate the day light. Secondly because of the earth’s rotation, moon is above the horizon for 12 hrs and as long as moon is away 90 degrees from the sun. I was thinking it was because of higher altitude in the Ladakh region but turns out the altitude and the clear skies do not make any difference for viewing the moon in brought day light. Evening in Tso Moriri This was taken in Korzok from the homestay on a very cold evening. The picture still does not provide justification to the beauty of the place. The lake in itself is part of the wetlands and provides a super glimpse of the sunrise and the sunset on the lake shores. Kurzok is also famous for the Ladakh festival called kurzok gustor festival. 🇮🇳 インド旅 ある日のメモ ーーー ツォモリリへ コルゾク泊(夕食朝食付き800ルピー) インダス川沿いを走りツォモリリまでの道233km 途中レンタルバイクのマフラーのネジが悪路の振動で緩んで外れそうになってきたので修理していると、同じくバイクで走ってきた“スタンジン”というチベタン人が止まって手助けしてくれた。 なんとか補修し走り出すと次はその“スタンジン”がパンクで止まっていたのでヘルプしてあげる。 結局お互い完全に修理はできず、次の街までお互いを気にしながらゆっくり並走。 途中のカフェで一緒に食事休憩。 またそのカフェで出会った’タンジ‘というチベタンの青年35歳を目的地までの通り道だしという事で家まで送って行く事になった。 ’スタンジン‘とはここでお別れ。 「じゃあよろしくね」 ’タンジ‘の住むSumdoという村へ到着。 少しタンジとお茶をしてからツォモリリに向けて出発すると、パンク修理を終えてすでにsumdoに到着していた’スタンジン‘と再会。 またお茶をご馳走になる。 その後、ノマドの生活を見せてやるという事で、途中途中で生活しているノマド達のテント内でお茶をご馳走になる。 この時もお邪魔したお宅にこっそり謝礼を渡してくれてたり。 ほんとひょんなきっかけでたまたま出会っただけなのに親切にもてなしてくれる。 ’スタンジン‘とはコルゾクの村の手前でお別れ。 感謝。 ’スタンジン‘はこの後更に悪路を70kmも走らないといけないという事。 この時にすでに19時過ぎでもうすぐ真っ暗になりそうなのに、あの悪路を暗闇の中バイクのライトだけで走るとかキツイな。 ようやくコルゾクの村に到着し、暗がりの中なんとか宿を見つける。 老夫婦が営む宿、朝食夕食付きで800ルピー(約10$) シャワーは無いけど、もう寝るだけでなのでまあいいか。 約12時間、とりあえずなんとか到着。 2017/6/15 #Tsomoriri #インド #バイク旅 #ノマド #旅の記録 #ラダック #Ladakh #karzok (at Tsomoriri - Koorzok Changthang) https://www.instagram.com/p/CdnL8B6P1Us/?igshid=NGJjMDIxMWI=
