“I can’t believe I’m saying it ... but I think I’m excited to go to this year’s White Party?” Her voice was a mixture of disbelief and bashfulness, but what she said was true. Harper even had a dress picked out already, and she was looking forward to wearing it.
It’s safe to say that Noah is never as calm and relaxed as he is when lounging about on the upper deck of a Yacht, there’s just something about the sea breeze that whips lightly over him as the sun beats down it’s warming rays in unison with the movement of the Yacht which provides a sense of contentment - even comfort - for him. As he sits facing the cool open water, book in hand, plus a cocktail by his side. He feels relieved and at ease with himself and the world. Of course, the feeling doesn’t last as long as he would have liked when someone decides to sit on the lounger next to him and effectively disturb his time alone. Noah sighs at this, his moment to himself over with, closes his book and places it where the cocktail rests as he switches it for the beverage.
“Beautiful, isn’t it?” He murmurs, eyes facing the blue sea - watching as the ripples glide along the surface.
“Someone brought a doe eyed tourist in as their date - who proceeded in bringing along her friend, who then brought another friend.” Sutton let out a puff a smoke, legs stretched out as she sat on the front step, “in short we’ve been infiltrated and no amount of alcohol could make those Tennessee bobble heads remotely interesting.”
“Please tell me that there’s an open bar somewhere around here.”
It was the week Kati lived for every summer and it couldn’t have come at a better time. The week at the Hamptons was always her favourite and there was no better way to kick off the week than with a party. She had gotten in as early as she could so that she could set up since she and Kenzie were hosting the welcome party this year. She wanted it all to be perfect and couldn’t imagine a single thing that might have burst her Hamptons bubble. Except maybe Gossip Girl, but for once, she was determined not to to let it bother her.
That night, Kati had put on her hostess hat and did her best to make sure everyone was having a good time. She was in her element and it truly showed. She broke away from the crowd for a moment and slipped into the kitchen to take a small breather. What she didn’t expect, however, was for someone to have the same idea as her.
“Great minds must think a l i k e,” she said, trying not to startle her companion. “I didn’t realize you were coming tonight.”

Noah: you better pack light, we're going in my new Mustang.
Noah: when shall I pick you up, darling?
”You should be able to hire someone to do all your packing for you. It really puts a damper on the pre-holiday buzz.”
