I’m still figuring things out (I literally just joined the fandom a month ago 💔) but this is what I’ve got cooking chat-

In my AU Narrator IS the game engine (or something like that?? IDK yet) and inserted himself into the game because he was lonely and wanted to engage with the others.

Employee 432/Jim was Narry’s very first playable character (go figure why they’re such a mess…)

Jim wasn’t really supposed to exist. They were just a program used to run and test the game from the players POV. Nothing else.

Narry got carried away and made short stories and adventures for Jim. ✨

As the playable character goes through game endings repeatedly they start to remember certain events. They start to gain sentience and begin to assimilate the players actions and choices within the game.

A playable character is everybody yet also nobody at all??

Back to Jim. Jim gains this sentients to such a degree that they had formed their own consciousness, gained complete free-will, and detached themselves from the player.

Doing that had terrible consequences though. 💔
