Dean prayed a lot , though Castiel began to believe he didn’t even know he was doing it. Castiel didn’t mean to listen, but when he was one hotel room away, it was impossible to silence the quiet, terrified pleads pouring from Dean’s head right into his own.

At first he was ashamed, at times vitriolically, of the growing need to listen. Ashamed of a growing tug and pull. It was like Dean had built walls, but somehow, somewhere in the shit show of heaven and hell, Cas (omnipresent warrior of heaven that he was) had become stuck inside of them, only to find another wall when he tried to go further in. He was stuck on earth, driven by duty and trapped with a self-loathing sinner who would sacrifice near anything for others. The winchesters sowed chaos, it was how they fought the fabric of God.

And if Cas was caught in the crossfire, if he put himself there, there was no one to stop him.

The questions I have about the TSPP AU are VERY disorganized, but I'll try my best to phrase them: When exactly does the Parable take place? Is it something outside time itsel; does it take up time in the story? How does it change the canon of Gravity Falls?

I remember seeing a post discussing Stan having inside jokes from the Parable that only he and Bill would get, so that begs the question; does Bill remember the Parable? Does it change his decisions in the canon? Or has the canon already happened in the TSPP AU, and the Parable is, again, some kind of warped time event?

Has anyone told Stan that them glasses are fucking tacky?

Okay so the first part of this question, the Parable takes place IMMEDIATELY following the erasure of Stan's Mind. Like litterally as soon as the mindwipe is done, the Parable begins. This period of time in the 'Parable' due to the Parable being not of this world or even just the mindscape, isn't visible from those in Gravity Falls. To them what they see is, Stan's mind wipe, him in the grass memories gone.. For like a few seconds, before Narrator!Bill just like is vaulted outta his mind. So most of the changes here all happen after canon, we are still trying to hammer out how it all works. But essentially after the Parable, Stan and Bill are friends. Both of them having now been stuck in the parable, for who knows how long. Ford is the person that takes the most time to adjust to it all I think, and in typical Ford paranoia thinks all the stuff that happened in the Parable was due to Bill, rather than the curator. It's not till like, a buncha investigations and some big event (we don't know what) he accepts, Bill had nothing to do with keeping Stanley stuck in the Parable.

As for after the parable, yes Bill and Stan both remember the entire parable. This in turn causes not just Bill but also Stan to effectively be DIFFERENT people than when they started. So after this, while like stated before, canon up till ending is the same, everything after is different. As in Bill then is essentially in a way redeemed. Also the bucket, and the Adventure Line are also there. And yes, the parable is a huge anomaly. The reasoning we have for why it formed was that when Ford wiped Stan's mind, he put in "Everything" rather than just "Stanley Pines" which meant a huge being of PURE ENERGY was not just killed but shattered, and all that energy has to go somewhere. So thus the Parable was made as like, a way to try and circumnavigate that problem, cause most likely without it the whole Mindscape coulda been doomed if it hadn't of formed.

Last question, everyone other than Bill has told Stan. He just don't care, or agree.
