But anywho, Thomas’ powers!! The boy has quite a few, but then so do all the heroes- but they do all have powers that are more commonly used (their main powers, I guess?)
This AU also partially came from my Miraculous brain rot that’s coming back to me after like five years, so there are a few elements of MLB there!
One final note before I get into this: They all have powers from birth but in order to activate them they need to be use special words that’ll make their eyes glow as though sunlight reflected on it temporarily at the end of their transformation sequence!
Okay- Thomas’ powers include:
Being able to summon any weapon of his choice or, alternatively, summoning something to help solve the problem at hand
He usually mains a shield for defence, but he uses his yo-yo that’s tied to his outfit for attack and travel either by tying it around something and swinging/pulling on it (A/T) or knocking something away (A).
In order to summon the item, he has to make an air rainbow and then get into the stance he wants to be holding the item in.
Cleansing a seirei (pronounced see-ray) by opening his yo-yo and capturing it, and then setting it free to live its life
Okay, this one is totally MLB inspired, but the thing is in this AU, there are little spirits that only those born with powers can see, and they have the ability to control objects and beings. If turned evil, the seirei can be immensely dangerous and fuel villains and grant them powers if they don’t have them (which is what the general plot is about for this AU).
They only go to those who have the most powerfully charged emotions in their detection fields, whether they’re positive or negative, and the main villain uses this to their advantage by using their birth powers to sense the feelings out and send out a seirei to possess someone so they can do the villain’s bidding to defeat the heroes whilst seeking their own revenge.
Thomas is the only one who can purify the seirei, so if he goes down, everyone’s fudged.
Thomas can inherit the powers of any of the others/track where they are
He can do this by saying their transformation words with the intention of using the powers or finding them, though they can only be tracked in a 50-mile radius.
If any of the others go down or go missing, Thomas can tap into their powers or track them- and you can tell who’s around depending on if the colours of the stripes on his arms or the pink designs on his gloves are glowing. The gem he has on the back of his glove shows who’s power he’s using- pink is for him, and the other colours correspond to the Sides, who show on his arm as they’re the main team (but there are different colours for other TS characters).
The fact that Thomas has this ability is really important because it means that if the main villain ever captures him and they extract his powers through an extremely painful process, they can access any of the others’ powers too- but in order to achieve their goal they need Thomas’ power AND someone else’s, but Thomas can only access one power at a time- so they’ll need to capture Thomas and the other person for their plan to work.
