Can I ask what your top 5 Loric scenes are?
off the top of my head so i hope it makes sense, and also attempted chronological order but im not sure because its from memory so it might be off for the first two idk:
that one where maric is quieter than usual (bc hes getting sick or w/e bc walking out in the woods in home, freezing home aka ferelden for days isnt that great for your health) and loghain realizes he actually misses him not shutting tf up
that one where loghain is totally ready to leave and maric drags his injured ass out of bed to go ‘where tf do u think ur going’
that one where loghain killed some dude who wasnt taking maric seriously bc newbie king, just to send the message to everyone that maybe they should take him seriously and that maybe hes good enough to inspire that level of loyalty and dedication in a person. i think it was in gwaren? that room full of nobles n stuff
the entire scene in the beginning of the calling where theyre talking to the wardens and also their talk right after (highlighting the line “it’s not for you to take it’s for you to throw yourself on since you seem so eager” about the sword loghain hands him)
idk if this counts but in origins when the warden asks loghain how well he knew maric and he says “he was my friend. if he wanted to conquer the fade i would’ve lead the charge” and when the warden asks what made maric such a great king and loghain goes like “there are men who inspire such devotion everyone around would lay down their lives for him” and ends it with “maric was remarkable. that’s all i can say of him”
