i'm going to integrate arvok's (tsu'tey's brother) storyline into the unrequited series bc i find it very interesting and i like sticking to canon storylines. so i think the next chapter will be mostly about his relationships with his parents and brother

to sum up, in jc avatar universe, tsu'tey had a younger brother arvok, and parents, ateyo and artsut. after tsu'tey died, his parents were very hostile towards jake and believed that jake didn't deserve to become the chief.

so tsu'tey's parents wanted the father to overtake the position, and they convinced their son arvok to challenge jake to a duel. they didn't love arvok as much as they did tsu'tey and they basically used him for their own benefit and gave arvok a poisoned knife to accidentally kill jake. arvok of course doesn't know that the knife is poisoned. jake easily wins him in a fight but arvok still manages to cut him and jake falls into a coma. tsu'tey's parents use this moment to blame arvok for poisoning the knife and try to convince the clan that jake is dead, and therefore tsu'tey's father should become the chief now. in the end, jake wakes up and exiles tsu'tey's family from the clan, and halfway through arvok decides that he will go his separate way
