Just rewatched the York new city arc and I couldnt help but get the feeling that Chrollo was super intrigued by Neon and her philosophy of why she wanted to become a Fortune teller I bet these two could've had an interesting friendship...if he didnt karate chop her neck

Well some of it was him coaxing her into revealing the conditions that allows him to steal her ability. But Chrollo finds a lot of things interesting. It’s been mentioned that he would admire the items he stole before selling them on, and he’s always engrossed in that book of his -Machi suggested stealing Ancient texts because he likes them. He seems to enjoy listening to people’s thoughts and opinions and keenly listens to what they say. So maybe…
