      THAT…WAS A RATHER odd thing to say to him, especially since he still did not know the other very well. He knew he was inhuman – a vampire, or something of sorts? He knew their name, but other than that, they were an enigma to him. What was he supposed to say when someone he did not know well spoke words of this magnitude to him? ❝Do you approach others this way?❞ he asked with a tilt of his head, examining the other pensively as if to further discern what thoughts floated about in that head. ❝You should be glad to have met me. I am a most ancient and powerful pharaoh, so you just encountered a once in a life time opportunity that should be cherished.❞ Aside from usual arrogance, he was not sure what else he was meant to say but this.

ren feels very protective over louis. it just started one day after the former felt an air of negativity around the latter that had assaulted his senses in flares and waves. this has remained the same ever since. ren does hope that whatever haunts louis can be discussed about one day.

in order to soothe louis ren tends to take his guitar with him whenever he goes on to visit the former. the tunes he tends to play are calm and are more meant to hum along rather than to sing out loud. it gives a moment of respite to both.

during the probation louis has offered ren to stay with him at the former’s place. ren has rejected the offer. he doesn’t wish to burden his cousin too much with all that is going on. louis at least managed to convince him to stay for a sleepover sometimes by the time sojiro has softened up against ren.

they don’t talk a lot against each other. they express more things via small and subtle nods, grunts and nods. it’s because both are tired at the end of a day and prefer to lessen any more overstimulation they could get.
