It's been 45 days.
Today is the 1 week anniversary. (Semantics of days, including or excluding the day of. I'm almost always confused. Today IS the anniversary, as it happened one week ago today. Yesterday was 7 days If we're counting Sunday as the day she left us.)
It's been a week.
She didn't make a lot of noise (she chirped mostly). She didn't seek a lot of attention (she was a shy little introvert). But I feel the heavy emptiness of her absence.
