          her eyes widen quietly, & kiyoko can’t help but to respond cautiously when taking the lunchbox back. her hand reaches out slowly, leading with the index finger slightly raised. ( he should know that she’s not opposed to hitting people with her papers ; a sudden surprise, & she might just use the outstretched hand for EVIL ). after all, she can’t imagine much good coming of a situation like this, based solely on the fact that he’s SINGING to return her lunch to her.

‘ — ah, thank you ... but i don’t know you, so i don’t think calling ... ’      she’s not quite sure how to finish.

presses his forefinger to ushijima'd biceps. retracts it. pauses for a moment then continues prodding at the muscle. | at wakatoshi cause we must bother

he’s not... exactly sure what he’s doing. ushijima watches the setter’s face for any sign that he can take into account, but there’s nothing on atsumu’s face that helps him understand the situation at hand. after a few seconds, ushijima makes eye-contact.

Not that Nekoma is TALKED about much, either. If anyone said that to Lev, he’d probably JUMP to a fighting position, ready to argue about Nekoma’s skills and talent. Their reputation had died down over the PAST FEW YEARS as they slid away from the higher ranks, but with the entire Karasuno vs Nekoma thing that’s starting to circle around high schools... well.

“Unless you’re talked about in your district! Your team’s not in Tokyo, right? It’d make sense!”

      ‘ do i want to hold hands? ‘  he responds, parroting the inquiry as his gaze, flat as ever, is leveled upon the other male, assessing. it’s an odd query, to be sure, namely considering the lack of camaraderie between them; they barely knew one another. that said, to be so forward as to outright ask  ( words armored with humor though they were ),  was a quality that he, at least, could respect. even if, perhaps, he wasn’t exactly interested presently.  ‘ not particularly, no. ‘  there follows a pause, a lingering consideration.  ‘ if this were a proper date, however, i may have been more open to the suggestion. ‘

her feet struggle to take steps ; each one ringing out in a CLUNK as the wood of her new geta hits cold stone. she had never worn this pair before --- her father had brought them back as a gift from his past trip, suggesting that the dark wood soles & blue of the straps would do well with her favorite yukata as of late. to show her gratefulness, she wore them the next day. she was only tasked with bringing some of the new fabrics to market for him, but DRESSING THE PART made all the difference for a textile merchant’s daughter. many of his customers tended to buy more if she was the one who helped them, or if they discovered it was her delicate needlework in a certain article.

he was already in town by now, having risen early enough to pack his wares onto his cart & pull them to the center of the market. however, the cart could never hold enough, & it was always the mid-morning when most visitors arrived, so kiyoko would bring the rest of the cloth then. she had seriously underestimated this week’s worth, though ; as the seasons began to show signs of changing, it was time to begin selling heavier blends to protect against the cold. they were weighty & bulky, & in her new shoes kiyoko struggled to carry them all.  

the uneven stones of the road caught her every once in a while, nipping at the hard wooden raises in her shoes, but she hadn’t fallen. kiyoko was not the type of person to easily lose balance, even with such unfortunate shoes. she had learned to walk in high wooden shoes & narrow yukata all her life, & always did so with infamous grace. but one more wrong step, & a wind which caught the skirt of her yukata by surprise made her stumble, spilling a few of the textiles in her arms & rushing towards the ground. until arms wrapped tightly around her stop the fall, & in opening her eyes she realizes she was CAUGHT. 

she felt the armor first, cold & hard against her bared forearm. & the sword on his side felt heavy where it barely touched her. a WARRIOR --- someone she would normally have avoided. with wide eyes & her mouth slightly opened, she stares at him, & then remembers the silks she had dropped. they would get dirty if someone stepped on them now ... so she turns her head, lolling back slightly as she remains held at an angle, & she forces her feet to readjust so that she can pry away & stand on her own.

Who’s the first to wake up in the morning: Atsumu, but Oikawa isn’t far behind waking up with him. I think because they’re both athletes and would lead the same lives they would sync with each other the time they wake up and go to bed. But Atsumu would wake up 15-30 minutes earlier than Oikawa.Who’s the one to make breakfast: Atsumu… too. But I honestly think they would trade on and off, but Atsumu would insist, because that’s something he would want to do for Oikawa which Oikawa would allow because he likes being spoiled….. up until he finds an egg shell in one of his breakfasts and chews down on it and it crunching hard. And Atsumu would just be like, haha - eggs needs a little more texture sometimes, right? It ain’t that bad now. To which Oikawa would settle a dirty fucking look on him and spit out the shell and give him a one month restriction on cooking breakfast. Who’s the one to serve the other breakfast in bed: Oikawa would serve Atsumu breakfast in bed, but the joke here is Oikawa is the breakfast. LKD;DDWho would suggest a quickie in the morning before work: UHM. MY GOD. JESUS. AAAH. HAHA. UUUH. BOTH? But with flat out asking it, it would be Atsumu, because Oikawa is a man of action, while Atsumu is also a man of action, but forward and shameless with his words. He would most likely twirl a finger in Oikawa’s hair or pull him in, like, leaving so fast? And Oikawa would be so… guess not anymore.Who suggests they both ditch work to lay around all day: Atsumu!Who chooses the movies: Also Atsumu. He seems like the kind of guy to have an interesting taste in movies and also pickier with them too. Oikawa would suggest some every now and then but if Atsumu shot them down, he would literally lose his mind, pin him and smother his face into the couch cushion and have him beg for mercy.Who initiates kissing during the moving, thus distracting the other from the movie all together: Oikawa - and it would be those slow, sensual kisses, Atsumu would try to pull out of, because Tooru, I actually kinda wanna watch this, and Oikawa would just be like, so watch it and kiss him again.Who orders lunch: Atsumu texts Oikawa to meet him up at places, and Oikawa if he knows Atsumu will be too busy to meet up, because of school/league practices would order him in food to eat. With little notes that say: Wash your body right before you come home. Buy a new brand of deodorant, because it isn’t working for you. Eat well though. ｡ﾟ( ﾟ^∀^ﾟ)ﾟ｡Who steals food from the other’s plate without asking: Oikawa, and I think it might annoy Atsumu after the fifth time. Atsumu: can ya stop doin’ that? I bought this meal for me and that one for ya? Oikawa: But your meal looks better than mine for some reason. Atsumu: Ya said that four times already and I still don’t buy it.Who curls up next to the other and falls asleep due to a full tummy: Atsumu and Oikawa pets his hair and gives him water to wake up to.Who distracts the other from trying to work at home: Atsumu, because he’s a fucking dick head. Who asks to go get ice cream like a five year old: Oikawa… And whenever Atsumu asked, Oikawa would refuse to go out, because Atsumu’s taste in ice-cream is dog shit.Who takes pictures of their partner eating ice cream: Oikawa would take pictures of Atsumu eating his ice-cream, because he would push it into his face as a joke. LDKD;D. And he has to have the aftermath of it forever. :/Who makes a sexual joke about the dripping ice cream on their partner’s face: Atsumu. Atsumu voice: Now ain’t that a familiar look of yers. Oikawa: with ice cream dribbling down his chin, lips thinned and looking none to happy. Atsumu: Mmm ~ yup. See. Point proven.

Who cooks dinner: LDKDL;DDK They order in take out or Atsumu goes to see Osamu and brings home leftovers for them both. HAHAHAHA.Who cleans up the kitchen afterwards: They both would, and Atsumu would be playing his stupid fucking playlists all the while! Britney spears gimme more comes on while he’s washing the dishes - Atsumu: Gimme gimme more, gimme more, gimme gimme more - Oikawa: That’s all the dishes though. Atsumu: .Who stays up until 2 reading: Neither…………….

Who stares at their partner while their sleeping: Oikawa, because he pets his hair to drift him off to sleep….Who kisses their partner while they sleep: Atsumu. LDKD;D BECAUSE HE’S SKYKEY GAY.
