i feel bad for yuri too bc i can understand how it would feel for him to feel ‘replaced’ by yuuri, but at the same time i think its good for yuri to not have victor because he was so dependent on having victor as a coach that he assumed it would be a surefire way to win all the time, but without victor always by his side, he’s now more aware that even he still has room for improvement and he needs to work hard himself rather than relying on the ‘my coach is victor so i’m pretty much guaranteed a win’ type of attitude. he’s learning to become more self aware and to review his own performances which he likely never did when he had victor as a coach because he probably thought 'victor is a record breaking top skater so if he thinks i’m good then i’m obviously the best’.. idk just throwing that out there bc i love yuri so much but i also crave for his character development yo

yeah i agree with what you’re saying too! and i thought similar things, like i said in the other reply i just did i was wondering if this was actually the better thing for him. i don’t think victor coached him that much..? when they were together in russia? but definitely helped him out and just having the legend himself beside him was enough to boost yurio’s confidence levels. yuri and yuuri are complete opposites, one is confident af and the other is lacking it greatly. like you said, it could be a case that this is a test to see how yurio overcomes all of this, he’s always been confident especially with victor beside him but now he has gone he needs to seek that confidence from elsewhere, like from himself. i’m anxious to know how or if he’ll overcome this... will it be easy for him to overcome or will he need a nudge from somebody to help him in the right direction... it does still hurt A LOT to see him like this though :( even a call from victor would be okay...;;; i’m pretty sure we’re gonna see this vulnerable side of yurio again though like in ep3... *weeps* </3

Rain. Why is it always raining when he wishes to take care of these little things that will play a bigger role further into this game of power and control? Even this rain feels chained and oblivious to the lack of freedom and individuality in this cursed city.

The wind, at least the wind seems to be the same as Shougo at this moment. It was truly free, cold against his skin and seemed to gently remind the albino that he was not as alone as he thought he was. A game was played with at least two players, after all?

He glances down on the people down below, the foolish beings robbed from their will and mind and freedom. Such pitiful little things, such helpless little things. Luckily for them he was here, a lone hero that has taken on the burden of saving those who did not deserve to be saved.
