Still exploring her new surroundings, Sakura finds herself at a little local bookstore, a cute little coffee shop next to it. She ends up spending quite a bit of time there, reading little books about the island and what she can find of it’s history-perhaps not much, but it’s best to start somewhere.

She almost doesn’t realize it when someone starts to approach her at her little table, a small pile of books beside her.

yeahhh, he’s not great at it. he tends to do this thing where he says something flirty (if he even gets that far), then plays it off as a joke two seconds later to avoid rejection. he looks at gladio’s ability to successfully woo anyone and goes into a blind rage.

but! he’s often unintentionally cheeky with all his closer friends… and those happen to be his best lines, too… go figure.

He definitely uses pet names! He gives people nicknames a lot but wouldn’t appreciate it if the same is being done to him. He likes to think of himself as the dominant one in any given situation and receiving a pet name will surely make him feel like he’s being patronized.

What can I say, he’s a hypocritical little bitch.

⛈️ Sadness headcanon

Sadness is an emotion that Maya is no stranger to, but still has an intense difficulty articulating. She was not allowed to feel anything more than blind acceptance for authority when she was growing up. Something that in turn made her closed off about herself and her more complicated emotions.

Years later, Maya is still unwilling to show true sadness to almost anyone. She doesn’t enjoy feeling vulnerable, and for her, the belief that she’ll be reprimanded for feeling how she feels is overwhelming. Of course no one would fault her for it, but she doesn’t... know that.

Please get this woman some therapy.
