I really like when two weak people are together. And one of them goes: “I can’t protect you.” Then other goes: “Why would you need to?”
I have pretty mixed feelings about the idea that at least one of people in the ship dynamics platonic or not—has to have someone who is the so-called protector. I really just want them to be both weak losers lol. But it’s more so it feels like the relationship will constantly be one-sided.
My way of thinking about this is: If you’re in a relationship where switching, top or bottom, is unacceptable. It’s not a good a relationship.
You don’t need to constantly protect someone all the time. The person is not your responsibility. You chose to love them and they chose to love you back. You are a safe space that helps, not authority that needs to do a job.
I don’t know, I was just thinking about that when thinking about the ship Sayeon x Tsubaki. Honestly, I really like the dynamic between them. Tsubaki it’s honestly such a mature person that I feel like she would give such great advice—Sayeon might overthink it or over complicated like a little shit, she is tho lol.
