{ ✗ }— Sometimes Lavi had to wonder if he had a death wish or not, especially with how he just waltzed into danger as if was something he did everyday, but that was the thing. He pretty much did that everyday, but it wasn't that hard when his roommate was the person who he was. In the end he found teasing him a bit too fun to stop, Lavi wasn't anyone who threaded lightly around people. Maybe that was why he found himself in the current situation.

"Come on, Yu-chan! It wouldn't kill you to go shopping with me, I just need a few things." A huff could be heard from the redhead, trying to tug along his roommate. "I will even pay for the food if you come along— We could even go to that cafe you seem to like." This really was a dangerous territory to step into, but he didn't want to go alone. Plus he hadn't had any time to hang around the other lately, so of course he would be trying to get some time to be around him which didn't include sleeping in the same room.

Trying to make a deal with the other was probably the best way of getting him to go along with things, maybe he could give up using the other's first name? No, that wasn't a chance he would do that, he was too fond of using that name with the other male. Maybe he could make a deal by not trying to braid his hair? The other certainly didn't seem to be a fan of that so it could maybe work. Giving it up though wasn't really something he wanted to do, he could stop for a spesific time, so maybe Yu would go along with that. "And as an bonus so will I even stop trying to braid your hair... for a spesific time of course." Muttering the last part, Lavi gave his best smile at the other male.

Runaway Kanda || Lavi + Kanda

Lavi usually read Sunset's Bulletins. They were entertaining, and provided him with enough information to know what exactly was going on around the school. He'd also been keeping track of any club news, just in case there was something that piqued his interest. Then, there was the section with all the new students for that week. Students were always coming and going, so Lavi never paid much attention to that section.

That particular week, Lavi hadn't had enough time to read over the bulletin at all. And, by the time he'd gotten all his work done, the thing slipped his mind all together. Three research essays in one week was enough for the historian. So, the moment he got done, he decided to head down to the courtyard to see who was about, and maybe see if there were any activities going on for the weekend.

The boy made his way out of the dorms and down to the courtyard. The sun hung high in the air, but it wasn't warm. There was a chill in the air, alerting everyone that winter was indeed coming. Lavi knew very well from his past years in the city that, just because this city had warm summers and springs, didn't mean there wouldn't be snow. He planned on enjoying the sun while it was still here.

The courtyard wasn't too busy, but there was a sight that caused Lavi's eyes to widen in shock. There were a few groups of friends here and there. Some eating, some simply talking, others in a circle playing the classic hacky sack... It was all being done. The students all had their different ways of getting by a boring weekend on campus.

But that wasn't what got Lavi's attention. He first caught a gimps of the long, blue strands of hair. Recollection struck him immediately. Lavi drew in closer in order to confirm his hunch. He recognized that boy as Yuu Kanda, who's family had worked with his own on occasion. Lavi found him to be interesting, and despite his constant anger, enjoyed him. He grinned.
