@tsvestidiabolus . . .
kisse from zoro for robin? (hope I'm not too late :( ) : : source ( 3/5 ) — no longer accepting
1998... 1999... 2000 Grunting, Zoro allowed the barbell to drop to the mat with a solid, metallic clank. Sweat lined every inch of his body, having been going at his workout for the better part of four hours now. At some point it had gotten dark, the moon on the rise in the east. He stared at it for a long moment, contemplating his next course of action as he swiped up his towel and aggressively scrubbed the sweat from his brow. Night watch started soon, something he looked forward to considering it meant some peace and quiet. Not that he heard much or got bothered often in the Crow's Nest. Everyone knew it was his space. Somewhere he could retreat to when the crew's nagging got to be too much. However, right now he wasn't alone in the room. Growing bored with the moon, he turned his attention to the raven haired woman casually sitting at the edge of the bench rimming the entire space. She sat with her legs crossed, on arm draped across her midsection while the other held a book. If she was actually reading it, he had no clue, and he didn't exactly care either. It'd been a while since they established this arrangement. Though it was more Robin just making herself comfortable and Zoro not really hating her presence while he went about his normal routines. Lips pursed at the subtle smile that soon crooked Robin's own lips, eyebrow twitching in annoyance. She'd caught him staring again. ❝ You always gotta do that? ❞ he asked, tossing the towel over the nearby weight rack as he moved to stand before her, knees almost touching. Zoro didn't expect a response, the woman not much for words, so he simply leaned forward, uncaring about the way his stomach pushed against the book. Hands curled around the top edge of the bench when Robin finally lifted her attention to him, that knowing smile still perfectly in place. It itched at something in the back of his mind, and without thinking he leaned forward the rest of the way, mouth slotting easily over her's to conceal that irritating smile. ❝ It's not your night on watch. Go get some sleep, ❞ he muttered, barely pulling back enough so he could speak. With the way he looked at her, she could probably easily tell that he hoped she would decline the out, but he wasn't about to outright ask her to stay.
@tsvestidiabolus gets a plotted Wano starter.
Setta sandals kick up dust as the monk strides into Flower Capital’s pleasure district. The guards making no move to stop him, only nodding at his passing. He nods back, his tengai bobbing with the motion. Beneath the face obscuring hood a sly smirk spreads across his features, golden eyes scanning the streets. He is looking for a particular street and building but of course he does not make that obvious. No mendicant monk such as himself should be seen eagerly entering the Pleasure District, let alone a brothel.
Shadows grow long as he enters the district, the sun setting and bringing with it the awakening of the night life. Gaming dens and brothels open their doors, prostitutes and hawkers stepping out into the street to beckon at samurai, ronin and yakuza alike. Very few attempt to garner his attention, most well aware that a monk wearing a tengai would have very little coin on their person. Even if he does carry a nodachi upon his shoulder as if he were a ronin.
The monk finds the brothel he seeks, steps taking him through its open shoji. The place isn’t high class but it is respectable. It has a reputation for talent, walls sporting portraits of oiran who had moved on to become much loved geisha. Certainly a perfect place for aspiring geisha to begin their journey. In fact, he is here to see one of these hopefuls. Again, a secret he must keep to himself.
“Master monk,” comes the bright voice of the Madam, her stern features breaking into a welcoming smile despite the small likelihood that he is here to pay for anything. “What can I help you with this evening?”
“Good evening,” he says, voice smooth beneath his tengai. You can hear the heart melting smile in his tone. “I am looking for a room for the night and have heard your ladies are particularly charitable. As payment I can offer my services. I am well versed in the healing arts.“
“Oh, you’re a healer? How wonderful,” she replies, taking the monk by the arm and leading him inside. “Some of our girls could use some remedies, for mild afflictions, of course. First, you should sit and perhaps eat. You must be exhausted and starving from your travels Master Monk.” A pause. “And perhaps you could remove your tengai?”
He glances about as he lets her guide him to a table, eyeing the other patrons. No one looks to be a member of the Beast Pirates so perhaps he is safe. After all, Wano knows nothing of the outside world. He grunts in the affirmative, settling onto a cushion and placing his nodachi down beside him. Hands rise to his tengai, sleeves shifting just enough to catch a glimpse of the words tattooed on his fingers. He tugs the basket from his head and places it down beside him with a level of reverent care, ignoring the whispers he hears from curious yujo.
Alabasta Robin has always been my favorite, hope you don’t mind me using your robin request to doodle that!

@tsvestidiabolus For a bad time thread
That was one hell of a hit that Straw hat pulled on him. Too bad though that the shot that was supposed to take out the tyrant that ruled over the nightmare which consumed Dressrosa did not knock him out completely as was planned. Gasps could barely be heard through the intense ringing in his ears, and Doflamingo had the faint sense that his shades were missing probably shattered when he took a fist full of haki to the face. Damn it... He didn’t want anyone seeing his imperfection, the scar marring his otherwise perfect features now doused in blood where a perfectly functional left eye once lay.
Pain throbbed in every cell of his body and yet he still moved to stand tall in the crater formed beneath where his body was sent flying. He couldn’t sense that overpowering amount of haki anymore but his sight was blurry and even trying to focus his observation haki to pick enemies out was becoming quite a pain to the man that was barely hanging on to consciousness.
It was a swarm of low level scum headed his way that prompted him to propel himself upwards and out of the hole at a slowed pace. Yells could be heard as soon as he breached the surface, and focusing on the nearest few signatures he could find with one of them feeling like Law, Doflamingo ignored those alarmed cries in a bid to at least come away with some compensation for this loss.
His body was too damaged to continue fighting anymore, and his hold on the kingdom was now all but gone with what he will eventually expect to be a massacre should Kaido come seeking him out here. Screw these weak humans, screw them all to hell! Doflamingo finally arrived near the haki signatures and taking advantage of their confusion at his sudden appearance as well a delightfully generous amount of fear, he wrapped one of them up in his strings with the assumption that it was Law and took off once more to the docks to steal a ship for himself and his prisoner before it’s crew returned with the birdcage now completely gone.
It was only once he landed aboard a chosen ship where he dropped his living cargo that he realized his error. A faint feminine sound reached his ears and all he saw was red. In all the confusion caused by the trauma dealt to him from the blow, he must’ve mistaken Law’s own energy for one of Straw hats crew and now it was far too late to take anything back, he had to leave NOW.
But whose to say this was entirely a failure? He had one of Straw hat Luffy’s crew, he could take out all of his pent up frustrations and resentment on them and even being a woman would never stop him from doing his absolute worse. It never had even in the past.
“ Nico Robin.”
Her name was spat out as he glanced towards her with the emotionless depths of his ruined eye. Oh he was going to enjoy this for as LONG as he could.
“ Make yourself comfortable my dear. We’ll be heading out shortly.”
And with that said, Doflamingo severed the ropes tethering the ship to the docks and allowed it to slip out into the sea with the ruined kingdom behind them.

The target of his anger was on the other side of the sea prism bars, Luffy on edge the entire time Crocodile was within Vivi’s vicinity. More than that he couldn’t help but worry for the little kid that was shadowing the warlord, and after all the threats and yelling he spewed at Crocodile he then turned his attention onto the girl.
“And you-!!” He called out to her, hands latching onto the bars of his cage in urgency only for him to feel woozy. He let out a sound of displeasure at the feeling before letting go, gritting his teeth once more, “Get away from him! He’s bad news! You gotta run!”
@tsvestidiabolus:
A night amongst nights. The year had come to a close, and new years festivals were a long-standing tradition in the land of Wano. Even the tyrannical rule of Kaido could not stop the celebrations from happening, the costumes and props and joy that was to be had amongst the people. Not the fireworks, though - gunpowder was restricted, leaving it only all for Onigashima.
Robin found herself trailing down the stairs of the castle, looking over the party (for yes, even the Beasts themselves found themselves celebrating - any reason to drink, she thought wryly) for a familiar face. Not just any, mind you - otherwise the nuisance called Queen would’ve sufficed. No, she was searching for locks of white and emerald hair, for pride rivalling Kaido’s very own, and for beauty so incomprehensible she’d often wondered if she’d stumbled into some sort of celestial realm everytime she so much as gazed upon him.
Asking around for him didn’t help much - the pirates were either busy gawking at her or were too drunk to notice. Trust the Beasts to be as perceptive as a coffin. But Robin did not show any signs of the irritation that was beginning to grow within her. It was only when Jack pointed out that she would have more luck investigating the caves of Onigashima that she left immediately, the Beasts not having to worry about her trying to escape anymore.
And, lo and behold, there he was. Hiding away from the festivities, in a cave by the mountain skull. Robin frowned, approaching him slowly.
He complimented her on her appearance - I did this for you, you know. - and seemed too shocked to speak.
Robin took his hand in hers, grasping at him. “Yamato,” she said, concern latent in her voice, “I know I look amazing. Why are you all alone?”
She thought the plan was to meet at the party and then leave together under the guise of setting up the fireworks. Now, Yamato had been by himself, and she’d felt it needed to be addressed. Something told her it wasn’t him trying to eat rocks again.
[Warning for spoilers for chapter 1024.]
No, he was not eating rocks again. He tried to not eat rocks- that was just a habit that stuck with him from his malnourished childhood days- No, that wasn’t what was important on this festival day. Yamato had remained sitting at this cave...
“The Fire Festival is a day of celebration... You already know what they celebrate, don’t you Robin-chan?” He should have known she’d be out to look for him. Yamato would’ve gone to find her after this. The samurai returned to his feet, now having to look down at her. “This cave was known as a sacred one. It was very important. I return to this cave in remembrance of the dead.”
“I don’t believe I ever told you the story of the cave incident... When I was a child, I had a tantrum after Kozuki Oden’s execution. My father chained me up and began to starve me for my declaration of Oden’s will. It was then he locked me up in this cave besides three samurai. He tossed in weapons and one meal will the hope we would kill ourselves over it. I feared for my life, I believed they would hold a grudge against Kaido’s son...”
A sorrowful recollection filled his eyes, but that determined spark ever burned. “They were so kind to me. The samurai were never hungry, they gave it to me, and we read together... They all loved Oden as I did. However, we continued to starve in this cave... Eventually they decided on using their weapons to break through the bars. They placed their hopes for the future on me, and they died for my escape. I always remember the samurai...”
He held out a lantern in his hand. There were five lanterns besides him. “Three for the samurai, two for lost friends... I was going to come back after I was done, but since you’re here already... Did you want to release the lanterns with me?”
@tsvestidiabolus ( cont. )
An island that was on the foot of it’s own destruction. King had sent plenty of his own to search for devil fruits in it’s regions. In terms of success, there had been quite a few of them, more than the average of this size of island. And now that it was depleted of the resources the Beasts needed and any strong members of the society were taken prisoner or willingly joined, it was time for it to burn.
He, a calamity, the Wildfire was responsible for such a thing. When he was not on Wano, this was certainly one of the pastimes of the commander. Islands that did not fall under a reign of the World Government, or that were too weak to be considered important--those that hid and were isolated from the world’s news. They who did not know of the savagery of the Beast Pirates. Those, were his target. And yet...As he was about to give one last look around--one by him rather than simply his subordinates--he found himself looking down at a young girl...
Being feared was not surprising, even if this island was unaware of just who he was. It would be curious nonetheless, he watched the reaction to seeing the flame over his back. A tiny smile pricked his face beneath the black mask, and yet there was no indication of this from his eyes. Rather, the flame seemed to bristle then become smaller--calm itself. Rather than an uncomfortable heat, it was more warming. Taking a step closer, her then kneeled down, black wings spreading then folding against his back as he spoke. This time far softer--it was strange to hear the imposing figure speak so simply--so kindly.
“ You are, and you are alone...You can cry, and when you are done, I can help you. ”
