Hi my lovely, what didn't you like about the book the summer we all ran away? I'm asking you because like you are the only person I know who has actually read it and it's my favourite book.
I’m super glad that most of the asks I get on here are regarding this book! Firstly; I adore this book, and it holds a special memory from how I obtained it also.
But what I didn’t like about it had to be how much I was left wanting to read more, the abrupt discovery of Davey - no spoilers - at the end and there was also so much more I wanted to know about these characters, I needed more interaction and I wanted to know what happened after it finished. I liked the Now more so than the Then, but I loved how it all came together. It was all odd bits put together and it worked marvelously.
So, if i were to answer honestly about what I didn’t like it would be two things. One, there just wasn’t enough; and Two, I don’t have the time to reread it as much as I’d like.
