“The Skin You’re In” is a horror visual novel I’ve been working solo on for a little over 2 months now, and the demo will be released later this week.
Coppelia, a human-sized puppet and the star of the traveling Circus Reverie, fell in love with a human woman. Every night, she saw her in the audience, and soon, she could think of no one else.
However, as much as Coppelia wanted to tell her Beloved how she felt,she knew it was impossible she would accept her feelings.
Because, after all…she was just a puppet. ‘Alas!’ She thought to herself, ‘If only life were like the stories we performed on stage! If I had a fairy godmother, I could ask her to make me into a real girl...
I would do anything to be human!’

In order to be with the woman she loves, Coppelia must build herself a human body using parts harvested from other humans.
