Nice enthusiasm there, Raven.
Anyway, that was a fun episode. They tried to have some mystery about what exactly was going on, but Daizo almost immediately was saying suspicious things. The problem with having him say that Brushogun doesn’t exist, is that the story we have so far basically only makes sense if he does exist, and so Daizo must be lying.
I was kind of doubting BB when he said he would keep picking up all the Japanese girls, but I guess he proved me wrong. I thought the fangirls were part of the ink monster attack, but nope BB is just that charming.
Cyborg and Raven were kind of just here. They had their silly moments with whatever they were doing but they weren’t really needed for the plot. In a 20 minute television episode it’s forgivable if this happens for someone, but they had 70 minutes to work with here.
There was also this thing where Raven kept being a dick to BB all episode. This is usually the case, but never this bad. She was getting into abusive territory in this episode.
Robstar is of course the star of the show. While crime apparently does not take a vacation, superheros do. You can really feel the influence that Batman has had on Robin, which is impressive considering he’s literally never on screen for the whole show. What we learned is that both Batman and Robin really need to see a therapist.
I give this episode a 9/10
Apparently, I’m not done yet, as I’ve been informed that I must do the comics that continue from the tv show or fall between random episodes
So stay tuned next time for that.
Thanks for reading, and remember to take your meds.
