Ultra agents have nicknames for the main Lair Dwellers. Jed hates it because he thinks it makes them more of a threat than they are and makes them seem valid in their terrorism (regardless him knowing they ARE a threat.)
John is The Traitor, for obvious reasons. What do you call a highly trained agent who took their playbook and a super computer on the way out the door?
Cas is The Dealer, everyone knew where Cas was back in the day, a mid level narcotics dealer who was supplying information to Ultra until he went ghost shortly before John did.
Russ is The Klepto, of course he is. The telekinetic banned from 70% of Casinos across the continent and known for strolling out of stores, pockets bulging with tech, jewelry, and money.
Cara is The Telepath, clearly, one of the strongest telepaths alive and capable of making someone believe they are a root vegetable if they piss her off too much, Cas is too but they don’t know that yet, unfortunately for them.
And Clari is Carrie, and depending on the mood she’s in when they come across her some agents made ‘Categories of Carrie’ after several different interactions with her. Cat 1 Carrie is when Clari throws light boxes or items at the agents. Cat 3 is throwing people through walls. Cat 4 is when she uses particles like roof gravel or splinters of wood to defend herself, and seriously injure any agent who gets too close. Cat 5 is when she knowingly love taps her prime barrier and doesn’t care if the attempted murder knocks her out.
(And only one agent, named Zane, walked away from a Cat 4 event on his own feet. They all know they are lucky they haven’t caught a Cat 5 Carrie. Another agent was remarked to have said “at least she can’t levitate like Carrie does.” Unfortunately, again for them, he’s uh… wrong.)
