We've seen her break down. It's the understanding that she'll never go home, that there's no longer any Kate without Tammy being a part of her. We've also seen her break down at the loss of a friend. Hopper has seen it. Robin's seen it. It won't be the first time or the last...

mistake: What's the worst mistake your OC ever made? What led to them making it? Have they been able to fix it? How have they moved on?

Kate makes a lot of mistakes but she'll admit that she makes them and tries to fix them. She actively tries to learn from her mistakes. As for the worst one she's ever made...as Tammy? Keeping certain things to herself too long.

....she's never been majorly wounded (yet). She has been through some major emotional wounds like the death of her friend, and the loss of her old life...I'd say the worst so far was waking up as Tammy 😂😂😂

This is a potential scene in the future (i'm not sure if I'll keep it and if it'll stay the same if I do. also, i might have shared this before....I don't remember...)

“What are you doing?” I asked softly. I didn’t know why I was so quiet but it had suddenly felt like the world around us stopped. There was nothing but Steve and the way he was looking at me, at my lips.  “Me? Nothing. Nothing at all.” He leaned forward slightly and he was so close. I knew I should leave, that it shouldn’t happen...but he was looking at me like the world stopped for him too. “Steve…” I put my hand on his chest and he instantly covered it with one of his own. “Yeah?” I went to pull away but he refused to let my hand go. He kept it held against his chest. He moved back, closer again to where we were before I tried to move. His other hand came up to cup my cheek. “You really going to run from me? Because I’m pretty sure you can take me…” he smiled wryly.

As for the updates...I'm trying to get to a certain part writing wise before I post the next chapter so that I can make sure it makes sense. It's about time that canon events start happening again so it's a little chaotic lol. I promise though, it'll be worth it! Thanks for waiting!

Drabble prompts, types of kisses #5, Tammy or TMW?

#5. On the side of the head:- can be familial/platonic/romantic. A sign of assurance and adoration.

She sighed, watching as her daughter took charge once again. She's never been prouder, ever if the reason why terrifies her. She doesn't know what Tammy has been through, doesn't know why exactly she's changed so much, but she can't help but smile at her daughter. It was for the better, even if sometimes she felt like she could barely recognize her. She catches sight of the way the Harrington boy, Steve, stares at Tammy, stars in his eyes as he moves to help her without the girl even asking. Deanna watches as he walks away, nodding to whatever Tammy said before turning back to tell her he'll take care of it. Deanna moves, wrapping an arm around Tammy's shoulders, pleased at the way her daughter relaxes into her hold and leans into her. She tries to take one so much. Deanna presses a kiss into the blond curls, pulling Tammy closer. "It's going to be fine," she says, trying to ease the anxiety she can feel the girl holding. Tammy sighs. "I hope so." "I will," Deanna promises. She'll make sure it will.

I think Kate would only really wish that she wasn't inserted into any story lol. She would rather be at home (and we know from This Means War how well her original life could turn out). I think if she could choose, she'd pick something that she actually knew and could plan for any outcome. Also anything that allowed her to keep her own body. Maybe...something like 90210, because that's mainly just drama. No monsters. (or Sliders! The only reason she wouldn't pick Doctor Who is that despite the fact he could probably get her home, there's way too many things that can go wrong).

In retrospect, I realized that my last ask was too broad. In my defense, I was kind of preoccupied with rereading your other fic, Serendipity. I’m a sucker for John Wick…and Keanu Reeves.

Anyhoo, that does explain the fic’s origins.

After rereading TTTotUD, I can honestly say that I didn’t like the way Nancy treats Mike and I was glad to hear Kate tell Nancy that she needed to treat her brother better. Like, I know Nancy’s relationship with Mike in the fic is pretty on point but, as an older sister, I’m just 🤨, that’s not how you should treat your sibling.

But, I digress. Can you expand more on the dynamics between Eddie and Kate? I enjoyed that brief interaction when they first met and I am thirsty for more. Also, what happens when Steve sees Kate and Eddie together? And what’s the Party’s take on them?

Also, any hints/sneak peeks on the next chapter? Pretty please 🥺

Hahaha, I have no problems in you being distracted by the fact you were reading another fic. I hope you enjoy it! I have a lot of fun with Serendipity. (who can resist Keanu?)

I'm going to be honest, Nancy irritates me at times, mainly with how she interacts with other people. I think that she sort of...bulldozes people when she thinks she's right and doesn't really listen to anyone else, not really. Not unless it supports her. That being said, I also thinks she has the potential to get better, but it's going to take a harsh reality check. Kate, in comparison, also generally believes she's right but the difference is that Kate will listen to others and either adjust her opinions or explain her own reasons. Their interactions together are going to be interesting because it's a bit of unstoppable force meets immovable object (as we saw in the library).

Of course! Eddie and Kate are going to be great friends. It's going to be interesting because Kate has a tendency to draw people to her (like I said before, it's the confidence). The fact that she's unapologetically nerdy is a plus lol. We're going to see more of them together when she introduces Eddie and Will. And we'll see hwo the first campaign with them goes. The Party's take? They're a bit wary (after all, there are rumours going around about Kate) but things get easier as they get to know each other as they play. You'll see. It'll be fun.

As for the next chapter...one word: prom. ;)
