Tuck barely knew what had happened. One minute she was walking to her car after saying goodbye to Bethany. The next everything went dark. She could hear muffled noises as someone pushed her into a car. She hit the wall kind of hard and it made her disoriented. Though someone yanked her up to a sitting position and sighed. Then her wrists were zipped tied together kind of tightly. Mostly despite everything she was scared and confused.
After about an hour in the dark, someone yanked the pillowcase off of her head. Her eyes fluttered a bit in the light. She tired to adjust but she couldn't think straight. She was crying and just wanted to go home and not be here. They kept calling her Bethany and saying that she was suppose to talk to her brother. That if terms weren't met bad things would happen.
A few minutes passed and they shoved her a phone. She heard a male voice on the other end and she had to try and plead her case. Maybe he could help her. Her voice made it obvious that she was crying. "Please, I have no idea who this is. But they think I'm your sister, Bethany. I don't know where I am right now. I'm scared." Her tears getting heavy. "I'm Bethany's friend Tuck. Please don't let them hurt me. I just want to go home."
