i beat PMD DX yesterday after dropping it for 2 years cuz i fainted in the sky tower with all my best items and ragequit. i ened up figuring out i could send another rescue team to save the ones that fainted originally (i fainted so few times before this i legit didn’t know that this was a mechanic).

When i got to the ending i was legit sad but i feel like i’d have been more sad if i didnt. you know. have a 2 year gap between the rest of the game and the final boss.

my only regret is that i didn’t make myself a skitty because im literally a skitty. you see a skitty that’s me. i was unaware of this so i was just an eevee and my partner was a pikachu because i didnt know what pokemon to choose so i just went with ‘oh its like pokemon let’s go heh’.

my final team was Absol, Chumimim the pikachu, and Kelly the eevee. we stunlocked the hell out of rayquaza with Chumimim and blasted hyper beams down his gullet until he cried.

I was playing the cleaning game the other day, a portal 2 mod on steam where you play as a cleaning robot, very much inspired by the stanley parable. and it explores themes of planned obsolescence, death, and otherment. it’s good but a little jank sometimes, but it’s free, so there’s no harm in giving it a shot.

that night when i went to bed i swore i felt physically ill and dysphoria(?) over the fact i couldn’t be a robot. like i just wanted to tear off my own skin and stuff so i could reveal metal plating and circuitry underneath, and it felt so… odd. i never felt like that before, or at least not that intense about it. anyway i think the cleaning game intensified my wants to be a robot despite it highlighting why it would fuckin suck in this modern world.
