Narrative foils with inside of nicktoons unite... my thoughts (with some added people because I said so)
1. Manny Rivera (El Tigre) and Danny Fenton (Phantom). [Tigerghost]
Both come from well-known families within their town, but the difference is that one is famous while the other is infamous. Both have power related to the dead, but only one of them is truly dead. (Heck, a bunch of their powers are similar)
While Manny is struggling between 2 sides stuck between deciding if he will become a hero or a villain being stuck between his family's expectations from his grandfather, wanted him to be a villain to his father, wanting him to be a hero so ethan his mother, who wants him to be a normal civilian each not asking for his opinion but they love him and know who he is.
Danny is also stuck between two sides, the human side that has his friends, family and community, and the ghost side that he is slowly becoming more friendly with it, but both sides are out to get him (especially his parents who don't know he's phantom and what to dissect him)
Also, Danny is a hero seen as a villain by most of the population, while Manny wants to be both while everyone is trying to make him choose a side.
Also how the fandom writes them and how this has affected them also seems to vause them to be narrative foils. Manny, who seems to need validation and hides behind his mask because that is good, hey, cornerstone of who he is, extroverted and outgoing.
While Danny seems to hide himself away, not just having the masked himself. But seeming to not rely on a face at all, rather he seems to rely on sending him in the background rather than blending it with people, introverted and guarded.

2. Jimmy Neutron and Timmy [ Turner] Cosma-Periwinkle. [Neutronstar]
One who he's a man of science and does not believe in magic, from the other, is a child surrounded by magic. That's a difficult time understanding reality.
One has a family that loves him, dearly, and the other has a family that neglects him and has to find his own.
Brains and Technology vs. Brawn and Magic

3. Jenny wakeman (XJ-9) and Tuesday X.
Both just want to be normal teenage girls, but one of them, it's not even human but wants to be. And the other comes from a family of spies who don't know how to be 'normal' she is the only exception
Both of their families have expectations of who they should be ( one a weapon of mass destruction, and the other, a part of the family business)
"I feel like they could have really meaningful conversations and allow each other to just be their age for a little bit also Tuesday taking Jenny out to party, or sleep overs is awesome to me"

One is friendly and is ok with his life. One wants to take over the world, and the other wants to make sure the second one doesn't do something stupid
One is hyper competent in what he does, the other 2 not so much
One is from the depths of the ocean, one is from the vastness of space, and the last is from earth.
They also share having the weirdest origins
Spongebob, literally being a sponge working as a fast food employee.
Zim is an alien who wants to prove his people wrong that he is competent (despite him basically destroying his home planet)
Dib being a clone of his father, who is the same type of alien as Zim, but is hiding the fact that he's alien so he can slowly take over the world to prove his own people wrong
"Their relationship can be described as the 2 who are fighting for the 7th time this week... its Monday, and the reason they stop bickering... basically, babysitter and two twins that they're taken care of for the evening
The only thing that can stop these two from arguing for more than 5 minutes is SpongeBob, telling them to come eat."

5. Bessie Higgenbottom (Mighty B) and Tak
Bessie is a girl who understands the city life as well as appreciating nature as a girl scout, and being able to live with it
Tak who has never been to a city but understands nature and its spirits
Both are trying to complete different quests to achieve their goal, one being obtaining all badges, the other learning how to be the shaman of his people
Also, both have come up with convoluted plans that end up either miraculously working or end in failing spectacularly
I feel like they could do well learning from each other B could learn more about nature and how to survive in it, and Tak could learn of city life, and possibly some of our knowledge on gardening and building to help his people"

6. Kid Danger and Fanboy/Chum Chum
Kid despite being a kid who randomly found out about super hero life, trained that became a great side kick, even becoming his own superhero in his own town becoming a responsible role model (most of the time).
While Fanboy and Chum Chum are more like kids who have superhero hyperfixation with no good role model to teach them, allowing them to run rampant (especially with a sugar rush), they idolize being a superhero and tend to ignore its drawback or how pretending to be one have either directly or indirectly hurt the people around them.
"I feel like a teacher/student(s) relationship would help both sides especially since kid dangers main power in the later part of his series is forcefields (which would help keep these two on track and help mitigate damage they might cause"

Did I put more than one person into some of these... yes, I did. Because Spongebob is a good foil to both the craziness of Zim and the anxious mess of Dib and the show has discussed how Fanboy and Chum chum are literally stuck with each other and that keeping them separated is not a good idea while Kid Danger is one of the few things I could probably stop them from being is catastrophic
