Today is #Tiesday and traditionally the day of the week associated with Mars in many languages & traditions so I am doubly excited to share this new tie and scarf design we are bringing to DPS18! I commissioned the Mars, Curiosity rover, and skycrane artwork from a talented comic book artist (who requested anonymity, otherwise I would be shouting their name from the rooftops) and worked with long-time startorial favorite CyperOptix to adapt the design for ties and scarves and they recently shared these sneak-peeks of the final products, and I am just about speechless. This started out as a vague idea in my head, and an even worse drawing on paper, but with the help of several professionals it has come to life even better than I could have imagined. Summer helped me pick some out-there colors for the fabrics and inks, and I can’t wait to see them all!
This design will only be available at the BOOTHtique for the time being, but maybe it will be motivation for us to finally set up on online shop... Watch this space!!!
