Avalanche and snow drift fences by the roadside on the oberalp pass near Andermatt. The pass we really wanted to travel was still closed from the winter snows, but this pass was a good alternative.

An amazingly tiny little church amidst the green fields of Tujetsch in Canton Graubunden, glimpsed from the train on part of the route of the “Glacier Express”. Great roof!

The pretty little locality of Tujetsch in the Swiss alps near the Oberalp Pass, and one of the above ground routes between Switzerland and Italy - seeming endless clusters of quaint villages in green-green fields under the always snow-capped mountains.
