But things get especially queer around here when we celebrate Pride month.
This year, starting in June, Tumblr’s editorial team will be kicking off some exciting projects that celebrate Pride. But because here on the queerest place on the internet every month is Pride month, our focus on queer content lasts much longer than 30 days. Here’s a taste of what we’re cooking up for Pride 2022.
Tumblr PRIDE Mosaic will be an integrated artistic expression of LGBTQIA+ pride and community built to engage, inspire and showcase Pride. Launching on June 1st, Tumblr will curate creative/artistic representations of Pride from around the world on a newly minted blog. Submissions will become an interwoven part of the world’s largest digital art mosaic dedicated to LGBTQIA+ awareness, support and respect - found only on Tumblr.
Queer Content will take center stage when Tumblr’s editorial team starts asking users to share different types of content from their favorite queer books and artists to the funniest queer memes and swoonworthy ships. This curation project will continue throughout the year and live as part of thequeerestplaceontheinternet.tumblr.com.
Tumblr “t” will also be in on the action with special creative expressions of Pride all month long.
