Within the marbled halls of the Courts of Chaos, the judgements are held and the sentences are carried. Prisoners of all sorts are brought into the courts and judged. There is no rhyme or reason to their hearings, nor for their verdicts. All one can be certain of is that the rest of their existence shall be quite....uncomfortable. With this in mind, many prisoners become....unreasonable and may try to escape or break their way out. The Crazed Guards stand by for these types of occasions. When outsiders to the realm try to run wild within the courts, the guard comes out to contain them. Though a being of two halves, the Crazed Guards function as one. They can walk and move as if they were one body, even if their segments are yards away from each other. Their spiny bodies can emit paralyzing shocks of electricity, usually to "calm down" rowdy visitors. When prisoners attempt to run, Crazed Guards split their bodies apart to cut them off. A wall of electricity is created between the two halves, and the duo will move forward to herd the victim to the proper courtroom. When prisoners go onto trial, a Crazed Guard often accompanies them to the stand. They make sure the prisoner does not try to run, or talk out of line or look at the judge funny or talk or remain silent when they shouldn't or improperly exist within their sight. A painful jolt is their warning, informing the accused to be courteous and follow their nonexistent rules. Though they accompany the accused, Crazed Guards do not carry out guilty verdicts. Trapdoors within the court rooms shall dispense them to the proper chambers. Though they do not aid the guilty, Crazed Guards play a crucial role when the accused are found innocent. In these rare cases, the Crazed Guard shall let them receive their piece of paper, give them a congratulatory pat on the shoulder and then violently fling them out of the courtroom. If one is to experience this verdict, it is well advised not to hang around too long. Crazed Guards do not tolerate loitering, or outsiders who look like they are in a hurry. It is quite suspicious to them.....
