⚔️ - How does this oc handle conflict?

this is entirely because of their mother, but they will shut down and become kind of... passive? if they're getting yelled at in an argument, they can't help but just go silent because they're used to being too afraid to say anything back or defend themselves.

🧠 - What is their stress response: fight, flight, freeze, or fawn?

related to the last point, i guess the closest it gets to is freeze :')

⚡️ - Does this oc have any unusual or "irrational" fears?

i dont have any ideas for any like, "funky" fears that they'd have. all i can think of is how even after being with amarie and tan, there's still that nagging fear in the back of their mind that one day they'll wake up and they'll still be in the battlespire (or worse yet, cheydinhal) 😭

🌱 - Share one of this oc's early memories.

i think one thing that sticks with them (and with me) is when they had just gotten into the battlespire, and martus had a heart-to-heart with them about their father's death. they didn't have it in them to admit to him that they really didn't feel much grief over losing a parent, but they did kind of appreciate having Someone they can relate to (especially their own uncle). was it fucked up for them to think that way? probably! but that was also one of the few times in their younger years where they felt like things were gonna be okay.
