What is Mer’s impression Drake? & how did they meet each other?

Thank you for the ask!

Mer (Faerietale!Undyne) met Drake (Faerietale!Alphys) shortly after Drake became the royal scientist.

Mer, naturally, as the head of the royal guard, had to meet the sole new scientist that was going to be working for the king- both so they could know each other, and so Undyne could get a read on her.

Mer initially thought Drake was just scared of, or intimidated by her, as one should be in the presence of the royal guard.

Eventually, as the years went on, they started meeting more often, and found they both had a lot in common! I’d like to say there’s a faerie equivalent of anime that Mer gets obsessed with.

Drake was down bad for Mer the moment they met. Strong, tall, buff soldier lady with confidence in spades? Talking to her???

She could hardly think straight. (Not like she ever did lmaoooo-)

Nor did she for the entire rest of the initial interaction, which ended in her clumsily inviting Mer back over sometime. And she died inside.

Mer ended up doing just that, much to Drake’s surprise.

And the rest is history!

In current day, post True Pascifist; both are happily living together on the surface.

Alphys is planning on proposing on this year’s ‘Surfacing’ anniversary.

I remember seeing a trend a while back where people drew fell sans with a muzzle

Stitcher (TundraFell Sans) also gets muzzled occasionally.

But it’s only because he gets caught eating the honeymustard sauce out of the jar sometimes

(Sans) Everest

Obviously, he loves his ketchup and grillby’s.

But he’s also adores his brother’s home-made pasta sauce.

It’s too chunky to drink straight from a bottle, but he’ll eat it from a jar like it’s yogurt.

(Papyrus) Paladin

Also has the same favourite as the og.

Dinosaur oatmeal.

However he also thoroughly enjoys porridge with fruit.

He is a simple man.

(Sans) Cobalt

He enjoys tacos and quiches, sure.

But he’s a sucker for hot sauce.

In true sand fashion, he is a condiment drinker.

He tries to hide it though.

Bee has woken up a few times to see him in the dark kitchen, eyelights illuminating his incriminating act.

Neither of them mention it in the morning.

Hot honey.

And applesauce.

Likes spicy mustard.

He also likes to chew on sesame seeds like it’s trail mix.

He has a deep appreciation for multiple dishes.

Obviously he prides himself on his own cooking, claiming it to be his favourite.

But he’s a sucker for candy.

He doesn’t have a massive sweet tooth- but black liquorice, dark chocolate, and coffee flavoured things will always be a weakness of his.

What are your skellys favourite scents?

All of them probably like pine and moss, due to living underground and in snowdin.

But individually? Whew, that’s a lot…

I’ll stick to 6 for now.

Tundra!Tale

Everest

Obviously, sriracha is up there.

Probably anything…warm?? Feeling??? Hot chocolate, cinnamon, campfire smoke, vanilla…cozy stuff. Crisp winter air is familiar, feels like home.

I feel like monsters have a stronger set of senses, and Magic probably has a distinct aura and smell (to some extent) so probably his brother’s. Makes him feel safe.

And whatever kind of memory stank that’s built up on his jacket.

Paladin

Probably just likes the ‘clean’ smell. …whatever that is.

Citrus, mint, eucalyptus, bleach-

I don’t doubt he’s also concerned about that last one.

He doesn’t like the absolute rank that Everest’s jacket has built up, let alone whatever the fuck’s in his room.

But his brother’s magic is calming just the same.

I feel like the new leather smell he might also like. He’s the kinda guy to polish his boots or his car seats every once in a while.

In an ironic twist, he actually really likes blueberries.

After working on both his own vehicle, and at a mechanic shop for a while, the smell of gasoline and oil are nostalgic, and put him in a working mood.

Lavender is always nice.

Bee

Honey.

Also vanilla and cinnamon. Any kind of sweet, really.

Mustard, obviously.

Cinnamon also, but more like the kind you’d smell in whiskey.

Cigarette smoke calms him.

He quit a while ago, but he still likes the scent.

Hadés

Crisp, fresh air is greatly appreciated on his end, being underground can stifle even that, so he appreciates the surface air.

Petrichor is another thing on the surface he likes- the smell before rain.

Sure, waterfall was always raining- but it never had that smell.

…it’s nice.

He likes oranges.

Assign any kind of potato dish/snack that you think your skelly boys might like

Everest, Stitcher, and Atlas eat tater tots at least twice a week.

Guantlet and cobalt like cheesy jacket potatoes.

Teddy and Hemlock love all potatoes equally but prefer mashed potatoes because it’s easier on their teeth.

Polar likes those spiral potatoes. Like the ones you get on a stick. They’re fried though, so it’s a guilty pleasure of his.

I like to think Hadés really enjoys salt and vinegar chips. He probably has a stash somewhere.

Paladin started making potato bake a while back, using tater tots instead of potatoes. Everyone went crazy for it. Fries are still his go-to for potato-based food, though.

Everest is Tomato Juice.

Mainly because that’s what he drinks the most, aside from sriracha.

He tried carbonating it once.

Once.

Never again.

Fruit salad smoothie maybe?

A whole bunch of stuff in it though.

Cinnamon, almonds, whipped cream, protein powder…

…sprinkles…

Whatever makes it more colourful.

Coffee with a shit ton of creamer and honey and other additives.

A bottle of Domaine de la Romanée-Conti Grand Cru 1945.
