Scully and Skinner are summoned to a Senate hearing to answer questions about Mulder's whereabouts. We go back 10 days earlier to see the events that played out before Mulder went missing.

What a sick cold open, hell yeah Scully say your piece!!

Scully and Mulder were leaked information about a terrorist bomb, turns out the leak was Krycek (ofc he's alive)

Mulder (and Skinner) smack him around all episode "stupid ass haircut"

Krycek ends up in Skinner's balcony, hanging off the edge by his handcuffs lmao

Marita helps Mulder travel secretly to Tunguska, he brings along Krycek after learning he speaks Russian

Scientist cuts open the meteorite fragment, black oil bursts out and puts him in a coma

Mulder and Krycek end up in a gulag, they put the black oil in Mulder :(

Watch it! Yes, definitely. Wow, so much happens in this episode that I had to cut out some of my bullet points. It's an action-packed episode and sets up the mystery by starting with the hearing that continues into next episode.
