Russell bit into the cookie again, trying not to twist his face into an expression that would offend Walter. (Which, truthfully, wasn’t much of a feat for him. But still.)

“...There’s no flavor.” He repeated. Though it was a bit unfair coming from someone with a notorious sweet tooth, there wasn’t any discernible sweetness he could glean from the confection. Russell had never made a point to sample drywall, but... 

“Here,” the boy took another cookie out of the container and proffered it to the other. “You taste it.”

“So you’re... Walter?” Fingers move to absently scratch at the bandages at his neck, the burn blooming underneath not showing on the boy’s face. He doesn’t particularly feel anything upon seeing the other, save for the regret that surfaces again at any reminder of the dream. It’s for that reason he doesn’t want to meet Walter’s gaze head on, eyes instead aimed just below his head. “...You don’t wear those robes in real life?”
