In 1998 to combat the growing graffiti problem, 210 flags were painted taking 2 years to complete. As of 2016 few can be seen, replaced once again by graffiti.
As you are leaving Greenwood heading east turn right after the first large corner into a road side turn off, or you may find it following the Kettle Valley Rail Trail section of the Trans Canada Trail.
