Took a amazing gondola ride, then came down the mountain on “The Pipe Mountain Coaster” Best 2 minutes on the mountain. cant wait to go back this year with my head cam!!!!

Naramata Falls, Summer 2016

Category: Short Hike Seasons :Winter, Spring, Summer, Fall Difficulty Rating: Easy Description: Short walk from the parking lot to the falls. If you follow the creek, 30 mins but be prepared to cross twice. Beautiful walk with water craved rock faces, multiple pools and mini falls.

Starting from the Inns of Banff ,600 Banff Ave, Banff, AB T1L 1H8

Head northeast on Banff Ave toward Compound Rd 3.2 km

Continue onto Lake Minnewanka Scenic Dr/Range Rd 115B Rd 950 m

Turn right onto Lake Minnewanka Scenic Dr 3.6 km

Turn right onto Johnson Lake Rd

Great drive, scenic wildlife and great hiking.

Starting at the Moose Hotel & Suites 345 Banff Ave, Banff, AB T1L

Head southwest on Banff Ave toward Elk St 260 m

Turn left onto Wolf St 350 m

Turn left onto Otter St 350 m

Continue onto Tunnel Mountain Rd 3.2 km

Turn right into the parking lot, enjoy the views

Built in 1913, decommissioned in 1964 

In 1998 to combat the growing graffiti problem, 210 flags were painted taking 2 years to complete. As of 2016 few can be seen, replaced once again by graffiti.

As you are leaving Greenwood heading east turn right after the first large corner into a road side turn off, or you may find it following the Kettle Valley Rail Trail section of the Trans Canada Trail.

Take a left off crows nest highway 3 onto Railway ave, follow uphill for 400 meters. When you approach a large switch back look left, halfway around is a dirt road. follow for 300 meters, there is a large area to park, enjoy!
