O boy Hawke definitely has a criminal record. Probably there’s been a couple of charges of drunk and disorderly behaviour in public, but more seriously she probably spends a bit of time in jail for Actual Bodily Harm. I will work out the specifics of it one day but safe to say she definitely has a criminal record and has almost certainly spent some time behind bars.

With a criminal record and no real legal job prospects Hawke lives wherever she can, which usually is nowhere nice. Her most recent place of living was a shitty bedsit (something like this but a lot messier) with a shared bathroom down the hall and paint peeling off the walls. Once she gets on her feet a bit more on her feet however, legally or otherwise, she gets a slightly nicer apartment which she shares with a couple of her friends. Her living space/bedroom has posters all over the walls and clothes all over the floor. The whole place is a mess with lots of personal things scattered about the place. A mess, but it’s her mess.

Labels are for squares and also people with a reliable source of income. Most of Hawke’s clothing comes from charity shops and cheap chain retail places. Her style is very grungy and kind of punk looking; lots of ripped baggy jeans and leather jackets. A lot of her stuff comes from the men’s department too because she’s a butch icon. I can’t be bothered finding examples but just imagine lots of baggy clothing and leather.
