Streets in Turballos, central Valencian Country.
This village has pre-Islamic origins but it has been slowly losing inhabitants since the 1500s, and it was especially hit hard with the expulsion of the Moorish people in 1609. It lost its last inhabitants in the 20th century, but in the 1970s a new community established themselves here. Led by the Valencian Catholic priest and activist Vicent Micó, a few families moved here to found an ecologist, pacifist, and self-sufficient community. Nowadays, it has 19 inhabitants.
